Ok, I'm 15. 5'1". I'm 115 lbs. Not exactly obese or whatever but overweight enough to the point that the doctor is even telling me that I'm out of shape (xD).

I know at this age I shouldn't really focus on losing "weight" but more to just exercise to get to the shape I want to be. (Hopefully losing 5-10 lbs) I pointed out the places that I REALLY want to reduce but whatever I do just isn't working, or I might not be doing it enough??

Okay, I'm not EXACTLY exercise oriented, but I would do it if I have a set plan. As far as dieting goes, I have a pretty healthy and balanced diet.

I really want to get back into shape by the time I get back in school (mid-august to end of august) while I have a lot of free time.

DONT DO ATKINS, eat healthy + exercise daily or 6 times a week. Get an Ipod or music listening device to help you get a little bit more motivated.

In your case I would do some muscle training (to tone, lots of reps, low weight) and 30+ mins of cardio after your muscle workout.

There is a few ways to lose fat and fast (THEY WORK):

1.You stop eating carbs and eat anything that is protein, Check out the Atkins diet. IF YOU ONLY EAT PROTEIN MAKE SURE YOU TAKE VITAMINS

2. While doing number 1, do an hour of cardio 5 times a week.

3. Build some extra muscle, muscle feeds off your food and dose not let your body store it as fat. This way you burn more fat when doing cardio. MAKES YOU LOOK GOOD AND AT THE END YOU ARE NOT WEAK. FOR ADVICE ON BUILDING A GOOD BODY ASK YOUR GYM INSTRUCTOR

4. You can think about taking fat burners with the above 3 tips, you can get them in any health/fitness store.


IF YOU FOLLOW THE ABOVE without CHEATING IN 6 WEEKS YOU WILL SEE A MASSIVE CHANGE. You will see weight loss in 2 to 3 weeks on your scales if you dont put on muscle.

hey i see whats going on. I have the same issue i suppose. I am not fat but not model skinny I just wanna get in shape. I take P.E. in the summer (high school) I am a JR. and well its not working for me. I TRY to eat healthy but we all agree its hard because well fact is the reason we enjoy junk food is because of being weened on our mothers milk. Strange isn't it?
So hang in there...don't work out too hard because you could just end up hurting yourself or over working muscles and causing serious damage.

all you need to do to lower your body fat percentage is cardio - running, hiking, swimming, jogging, cycling, rope jumping, elliptical etc - 4-6 times a week for 30-50min - switch them up so your body doesnt get used to one thing - keep it guessing.
