If you are asking if the dentist will file the edges of your teeth down so they all look straight and even, I would say probably. If they do not you might wait a spell giving your retainers to work and your teeth to settle and then when you are at your general dentist for your cleaning and exam request that they do it if it's needed. They will probably smooth them with a round disc and a handpiece which will remove a small amount of enamel. Good luck!

I don't think that you really have to worry about this. If your doctor filed down some of your teeth, it could be minor dimineralization within the teeth. My suggestion is to talk with your orthodontist or dentist and they will be able to discuss that with you.

I think what you are referring to is that they are removing all of the white filling material from the front surface of your tooth that they used to cement the bracket onto your tooth with.

no, but they scrape off the glue which can often damage the surface of the teeth
