Good painkillers and maybe an antibiotic.

If the nerve in the tooth is alive but very traumatized from being exposed to saliva and bacteria since the filling came out, it will be inflammed and throbbing. This is known as an Acute Pulpitis. Not much will fix this. Painkillers and maybe cold water or ice will help soothe this inflammed nerve until the nerve can be removed from the tooth or the tooth can be removed from you.
If the nerve in the tooth is dead, then you have an abscess or an infection. Getting on an antibiotic will help this out in about 2 days. Until then painkillers may help. Or opening the tooth up and draining it of some of the infection, or even removing the tooth may be necessary to remove your pain.
I hope that helps.

There isnt much you can doo. Drink lukewarm (Not hot in the least though.) Water. Sip it smoothly not guzzle it. Ive find it help.

Take a pain killer. It doesnt help much but it brings it from agonizing to extremely painful.

Feel better!
