Do you have a mother???
1] underpants - wear once!
2] socks - wear once
3] any top over 4 hours or if you 'sweat' in it - once
4] outer shorts, pants - 2 - 4 times - sniff after each wearing
You are getting pimples, etc., because you are dirty!
Wash daily, including hair; use deodorant every day; brush your teeth before bed and after breakfast.
Change sheets and pillowcase every week.
Change entire 'skin' layer [ underwear, socks, shirt ] every day.
When I say 'change' I mean put it in a wash basket and don't wear again until you wash it!
Other people do what you do - homeless people.

That answer would be only the ones who wear dirty smelly clothes that they wear for a week or more without washing. Please read what you wrote. Does that sound normal to you? Do you not think that wearing sweaty dirty clothes would make your skin itch and break out with pimples? Does that even sound sanitary to you? Please put your clothes into the dirty clothes every day if you have worn them and sweated in them. I'm sorry to tell you this, but someone has too, I bet you stink. After one day, the shirt, and underwear goes into the laundry, and after 2 days max, wash your dirty jeans too.
Please invest in a good long handled body scrub brush.
Today at the supermarket, I was standing by this woman who was wearing dirty clothes. She stunk so bad, I had to move away and keep my head turned.

I was always told it was okay to wear jeans/shirts 2 times as long as you didnt sweat or anything in them. So thats what I do.
If you sweat in the clothes .. then you really should put it in the hamper and wash it. It has old bacteria and can lead to acne and rashes. So wearing dirty clothes wont neccesarily cause any health problems .. but can irritate your skin.
So wear shirts/jeans 2-4 times before washing as long as there is NO sweating .. then wash them. Everything else (bra, socks, underwear ..) change everyday.

It is common in Europe. I have noticed this with the Brits and the French but this is not just limited to them and I am not saying that they are all like that. I have had people sent home from work for this. If a person has poor hygiene and smells you should not feel bad to take action. Believe me, they know it and they don't care. To them it is a norn to stink. It is the supervisor or managers job to handle these type of things. Inform that person that this lady has a foul body odor and excersises poor hygiene and it is difficult to work near her and there is also some health concerns. If you are the supervisor: arm yourself with company policy be familiar with state (or union) labor regulations Then let her have it: Jane, there have been numerous complaints about your hygiene. You need to handle your body odor prior to coming to work. I know this is a touchy issue, I know you dont want to have this conversation again and niether do I. THEN DOCUMENT THE INCIDENT. My experience is that this type of person will be a stinkbomb once again in 2 weeks.

okay -- no wonder. they call clothes dirty for a reason. after wearing a shirt all day, not only is it covered with sweat, but also your dead skin, and every polluntant that you came into contact with that day. you will most definately get some sort of foot fungus wearing the same socks every day. You need to wash sweaty clothes EVERY TIME YOU WEAR THEM!!! if you don't sweat in them, i would say wear it 2 times max. jeans, if you stay clean and not sweaty, possibly 3 times. and make sure you take showers... wearing dirty clothes will make you stink too.

You realllly need to start washing your clothes. The itching and pimples you describe are from the buildup of dirt, oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells accumulating on the dirty clothes, which clog your pores (resulting in pimples) and irritate the skin (resulting in rashes). You can also get infections from the bacteria..not pretty.
My suggestion is that if you sweat in your clothes, you must wash them because sweat contains toxins and is therefore similar to urine. Plus, you don't want to have body odor. You need to wash your socks everytime you wear them because you may not realize this but you DO sweat in them.
I also don't wash my jeans everytime I wear them because they don't get dirty that fast. But if I get a stain on them...or if I wore them in the city or in the subways (in dirty areas), I wash them. I think you should wash your pants at least every 3-4 times you wear them.Shirts, on the other hand, need to be washed everytime you wear them, even if you haven't sweated in them.

I don't know that it matters as to whether or not it causes skin problems or health issues that you wear your clothing so long before you wash it, what it is is disgusting if you ask me. Especially if you are sweating in them and hanging them up to dry? Are you serious? And you're wondering why you have to scratch yourself................Um, I don't think pimples on your thighs and back and or itching are your only issues..........

I usually wash my clothes after wearing them once or twice. Wearing the same thing over and over again is not reccomended, at least throwing it in the dryer for a 30 minute tumble is good. Sweaty, dirty clothes do cause issues, but only when really bad, and from what you say, it is REALLY BAD.
