As long as it does not aggravate your dog, and the two of them are both happy together, don't worry. She's wanting mothered and comforted as much as she wants the milk, and if your dog is "adopting" her, it's all good. My dear Annie actually MADE milk for my daughter's kitten and they both thrived on the relationship.

hehe. this is ok. even though the kitten is weened-it still likes milk. so she tries however she can. no worries. if it freaks you out-i would suggest re weening her kind of. take a small bowl and put a few kernals of kitten food in it. cover them with milk and microwave for about 20 seconds. it will be hot- you let the milk soak into the food and plus it flavors the milk. just let her eat that. but the trying to nurse willl probably make the dog and cat closer and good friends. hope i helped.

have a nice day.

This is totally normal, especially if she was taken from her mother early. I rescued my last two kittens very young - their mom was killed - and they would nurse on anything that would let them. They continued the behavior for months, especially when they were feeling really cuddly. It's just like thumb-sucking in children, and nothing to be worried about. In fact, you should be happy that you have such a patient and loving dog that she'll put up with this : )

That's just normal kitten behavior. I've had a couple try that. They usually get over it pretty quickly. She's not in any danger with your dog is she? If this is getting on your dog's nerves, you might need to keep them separate for a while. Good luck to you and try not to worry too much.

If it doesn't matter to the cat and dog it shouldn't matter to you. Take pics so people will believe you later when you tell them about this. Make a video if you can. I hope you are not catophobic.

that's what happens when kitties are taken away from their mothers too early maybe she wasn't ready to leave yet sometimes my cat kinda acts like a dog sometimes its funny maybe get another cat maybe that one will teach it to be like a cat and NOT a dog my cat would sometimes even chase its tail its because it saw my dog do it and it started acting like it

Not anything to worry about. Take some pictures...you will enjoy them in the years to come. The behavior is not abnormal. She's just a baby.

Interspecies suckling is common. I wouldn't worry about it...She knows she's not a dog. She's just not finicky about where her chow comes from...
