There is way too many people and crowded. People don't say exuse me or thank yous. Cost of living is so high. The stairs at the houses are so steep high and dangerous. Summer is so hot and the winter time it gets so cold. That you have to shove the snow from the driveway. The subway stairs are so dirty and people pee on them stair n they stink. Traffic is horrible all the time. There's not really central air at some homes. Its horrible when they have construction on the streets.
The only thing about new york is shopping n food is excellent.

i love it and hate it sometimes.. it wasnt like oregon where i came from where just married couples could buy homes, and everyone was courteous and nice. but i love the city its fast paced and filled with culture and fun.. if the rent is too much move, new york is high priced for a reason.. i love it because everythings near, even if we have traffic it beats LA (sometimes taking 3-5 hours to get from work to home) .. the longest my commute has ever taken was 2 hours because of a deadly car accdient on the gwb..

I am a proud New Yorker who loves her city.
If people hate living in NYC then why move to the city in the first place. Rent a truck, pack your things and go elsewhere.
This city is rich with the arts, different cultures and many activities. And this city is up late when you want fun. not too many cities can't say that.
You will get the same traffic, pollution and noise in every big city in the continental u.s.

Exorbitant cost of living, noise, smells, commuting, crush of people everywhere you go. It can be a lot of fun for a short length of time because there is so much going on, but after awhile it gets to be sensory overload for me!

Ive lived in NY my whole life and love it....these other clowns probably would not get along well anywhere they live, if they don't like it here they should move their pathetic a@@es somewhere else.

The City yes, but namely because of the Yankees. They by far (Philly is pretty bad) have the dumbest and worst fans.
The traffic and cost of living is bad and there are a lot of damn people.
