After work today I bought a drink, being a tea fan I made a bee line for it. There was this tea that, in small print, said 'Mormon safe'

is this normal?

I'm pretty sure it isn't normal, but it is hilarious. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

Maybe that means it's caffeine free Mormons aren't supposed to consume anything with caffeine because caffeine is considered a mind altering stimulant/drug.

And I must say if you drink enough coffee, chocolate, or something of that nature you can get hyper, lol.

A Mormon safe tea is a caffeine free tea.

PS - Try some "Postum" it taste real good too.

If the tea is not herbal or organic it could still contain tannic acid--the same stuff used to tan leather goods.

It's just caffine free. Of course, it probably makes you think some pretty strange thoughts...

It must be caffeine free as they cannot have caffeine. What brand was it? I'd like to see it.
