The trick is the long, narrow panel at the top of the dash, covering the defrost vents. Pry off this panel and you'll see two screws at the top of the dash panel around the radio. You need to remove the two screws at the top, and I think there's another near or behind the ashtray at the bottom; then the panel pulls off and the screws holding the radio can be removed.

In some Wranglers, there's also a rear-support bar attached to the back of the radio. If so, the nuts holding it in place are also at the top of the dash, under the vent holder panel.

The best site ever is www.crutchfield.com

Talk with a rep. through the chat service and the will answer any question about car audio. Also they have a service where the can match specific equipment for your specific car so you can get a perfect fit. They also match up car kits to fit everything in your car. When you buy a product they offer free tech support for life.

I was suggested this site through Yahoo answers and it was a definate find for all my car audio needs
