The one thing to remember with cooking Veal, is that it has similar problems to chicken breast. In other words, if you're not careful, it can dry out quickly leaving you with a lovely piece of "leather". As long as you 're careful with the cooking, it will be a pleasant dining experience.
As for where it comes from, yes it's from calves. That's what these animals are raised for, to be eaten. If that upsets you, I'm sorry but I've eaten it and will eat it again. I hope you'll at least give it a try before freaking out over where it comes from.

I liked it although I didn't know what I was eating at the time. I don't like the thought of eating veal. If it doesn't bother you, then you enjoy it.

Veal taste great if you don't mind eating 3 to 4 week old baby calves, that's what your veal comes from.

I do not eat veal. I have had it, after I learned what they did to the calves to get "Veal" I stopped eating it. Read up on it.

If you like beef then yes. It's the calf not the older animal. Similar to the difference between lamb and mutton.
