My dad and I are dancing to "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. That might be a bit too much though. The song I was going for before that though which I still think is great is "Lullabye" by Billy Joel. That one is very nice.

umm have u ever seen uptown girls??? the girl in the movie is a daughter of a rock star that pasted away and theres a song about her in it, that'd be a nice song. or jessica simple's first CD theres a song on there about a father and daughter love. (my sister used that) dads dont usually listent to the song, they mainly talk to u while dancing.

Look at a song from Fiddler on the Roof called Turn Around (if not the title then the words). It will bring tears to his eyes

I love the song "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. It will bring tears to your dad's eyes even though he's not a softy. Congrats on your wedding!

Lullabye (goodnight my Angel) by Billy Joel. I do like the idea of Daughters by John Mayer though too!

I had the same problem, and me and my dad didn't want anything that could be thought of as "romantic", so we ended up dancing to "My Girl" . It's sweet but upbeat, and most of all, it doesn't have any romantic or sexual-type-of-love lyrics in it. The whole thing is really innocent.
