I am a receptionist so I deal with people all day. I answer the phone and this guy by the name of Scott says "Hi this is Scot I was in there the other day and met you, do you remember me?" then just repeats himself. Its happened a few times in the last two months. There are other women in the office but this guy never does this to them. Okay this is the really strange part. My husband's name is Scott. Is this a coinicdence or has he looked me up on line and is trying to scare me? What should I do? Should I be concerned?

First you have to think back, have you given out any personal information on the internet? Do you have a myspace? Anything like that? Also, if it is a stalker he may have gotten you'r personal information by other means, such as simply just following you home one day, or he could be someone who know, such as a pizza delivery man, or someone who may have installed something in your house. Can you remember letting anybody like that in? Someone who is calling you like that is harassing you, and should be taken seriously. Please notify the authoritys right away. And remember to give them some information so they can catch him/her. Such as, the number of this Scott (caller ID), if it says private number, dont worry, jsut answer the phone the next time he calls with the police there, and they will trace his call. Don't worry, just take action very soon! Good Luck!

You should let your supervisor know that some creep keeps calling and keep a written record of the calls - when he calls, time of day, what he says, etc. See if you can have a caller ID hooked up to your phone so you can see incoming calls, possibly also a tape recorder to tape his voice. If he calls and makes any threats at all, call the police immediately. Be very firm with the caller and don't sound timid at all. You can say "Sir unless this call relates to business at this company I'll have to end this conversation" and hang up. Creeps get off on making women feel uncomfortable and scared - it's a power trip for them. If you sound firm and not at all shaken by his calls, he probably will stop.

I wonder if you have caller Id-if you do the next time that he calls say "so and so police department how can I direct your call?"(what ever the name of the town that you live in.) If there is no caller id record and document every time that the freak calls and report it. Better yet if he is calling around the same time every day have someone else answer or the police there to take the call. Good luck sounds like a troll.

I wouldn't be concerned to terribly much. People love to crank call. We have a call center here at my job. Boy some of the stuff that comes in over the phone I could right a book. I have worked here 10 years in September and this guy we call the masturbater has called on and off the whole time I've been here. People have no lives and are perves.

Congratulations !.... You & all the ppl here on your paranoid bandwagon are perfect BinLaden puppets ! This is just 1 of his accomplishments ! Don't you comprehend what you are helping him create ?! you girls are brainwashed. And your behavior is rather dupish. Lighten up ! Practical jokes are so easily confused with terrorism now. My take is it's probably your spouse Scott in a disguise, princess.. He's just checking up on you in his spare time. Relaax.

wow your situation is real confusing. Well what I'll do is call the number back. Also I would ask my husband is he playing a trick on me. Then I'll tell people in the office about it and family. If he continues I'll threat him with the police if he continues then ya polices are getting so getting involved.

i began out being stalked, attacked, and outright bullied through my stance which i attempt to maintain on the fence (through fact i'm not for or against circumcision, yet do locate the shortcoming of advice for the two area incorrect.) This actually IS the reason my account is blocked. i could desire to handle people who hated me for each little thing else, however the anti-circumcison human beings (not making use of the term intactivists through fact to me that shows somebody who's for leaving a splash one intact, not somebody who's attacking the different area with organic poison) have been too a lot. I had human beings sending me porn and all styles of rather disgusting hyperlinks that had not something to do with it. It became organic harassment. a million) I felt attacked, belittled and bullied. 2) specific actually. It drove me to bypass from having a loose opinion to looking out adult men in my pals and family members circle and asking their evaluations, looking medical doctors, sitting in on circumcisions, and doing what i could desire to to attempt and help one or the different area. the top result's that i'm much less against circumcisions than while i began out, and greater in all danger to % a circumcision, although I won't say in spite of if I did or not with my son. I additionally do not attempt to coach human beings approximately circumcision and leaving intact anymore, whinge to medical doctors if I see an intactivist pamphlet without the counter available, and have filed complaints against them and made effective the medical doctors provided the different area to boot. rather they have made me greater desperate to make effective the two aspects are provided. 3) No. It makes me offended and much less in all danger to pay attention. 4) Nope. while i became attacked i did not actually have a son. 5) relies upon on how a approaches they bypass. The lengths they went with mine, calling names and such, specific, reportable. Harassing and stalking are against the regulations here.

Try to talk to him and find out why he does what he does. He might be simply someone who is trying to pull a stupid practical joke or he might be a mentally disturbed individual. Try to find out what phone number he is calling from. And then act according to circumstances. But most likely, he is just a weirdo who happens to like you. In any case, be vigilant and exercise caution.

Well, What does this Scott want? Better then getting "This call is from the Lancaster State Pen" Then you hear "Your daughter's name, f** answer this call" and get that call everyday at home.
