1. Tell them that you read (right here) that people who pick their noses stretch their nostrils to the same size as their pickin' finger. They will instinctively stick their finger to their nose and you can laugh at them and say "I guess it's true". Maybe it will draw attention to the fact that their booger pickers.
2. Ask them if they need a tissue or some alone time.
3. Ask them if they're gonna eat that and if not can you have it?

start a rumor in school that they eat booger and than they will stop. of course you will get beat up, than you will be a victim over something eles.

Try slipping a little Hot Chili Oil on their fingers when you KNOW that they are going to start "digging for nose gold" ;);)

Put pepper sauce on their fingers. It won't hurt them, but will be unpleasant. This also works for thumb-sucking.

Pick one yourself and offer it to them saying you have extras.
Rub your hand against your arm pit and stick that under their nose and say, "I'm trying to stop you!."
Fill a plastic bag with green jello, and when they do a pick throw the bag at their head!!

Tell them. It is not pleasant to watch and they should do it in the privacy of the bathroom or their home so those around them don't puke on them. Good luck!!!

put finger nail polish on their fingers, then when they go to put their finger in their mouth (if they eat the boogers..ick) then it tastes really really nasty, but it isnt toxic.
