Last night I had a strange vivid dream where I was talking to a plant and it was talking back like we were friends. During our converstation, the plant stopped talking as a mouse was trying to get inside the soil in the plant. I tried to chase the mouse away and in the process it suddenly turned into this vicious white cat. I tried to control the white cat by pinning it down with my foot while it was trying to bite me. The cat suddenly somehow jumped up while I was trying to pin it down so in response I went and kicked it. I then woke up because I had jerked my leg really hard. It was really freaky and my heart was pounding so fast when I woke up. In reality I hate cats and find them creepy.

Pls interpret as I feel that this dream is trying to tell me something due to the strong reaction I got from it.
Pls interpret in terms of what my subconscious is trying to tell me (not how my dreams are foretelling the future-i dont believe in that stuff)

I can only give you bits and pieces, my dream book, says under cats, you may have a need to care for something, but since you dont like cats, maybe you dont want the responsibility of taking care of someone or something right now, and then the mouse represents minor irritations, and the plant means areas of progressive changes in ones life? dont know if that helped, but maybe you can put the puzzle together.? Good Luck!!

This is a disturbing and powerful dream.

It begins with a comfortable conversation. You feel trust partnership, connection with the plant. You are at ease.

The mouse arrives and is behaving oddly. Perhaps you feel it is acting inappropriately. It interrupts your conversation and maybe you feel it will harm the plant. You try to shoo the mouse away and BOOM! Your friend the plant transforms into a vicious predator. You are now at risk, too.

This dream is about things that are not how they appear to be. The plant begins as your friend and ally. The allegiance is uncommon, but it feels very good and right to you. The situation with the mouse creates an opportunity for the plant to transform and show it's true nature, which is wild, predatory and very upsetting. You realize that your view of this friendship (and perhaps of reality) was misinformed, unrealistic, incorrect. The plant is no longer the calm and noble creature that it once was. You feel betrayed, you are afraid of personal harm, you feel that the mouse is treated wrongly.

The dream feels like a retelling of some tragic story of betrayal between friends or political groups.

I would interpret this dream this way; I would think that you must be trying to take care of something fragile. Maybe a child or a new job or even a new relationship. You fear that something you find negative will try to interfere and mess things up. I just think that you don't need to dwell on this negativity any longer, and keep doing a good job. If you weren't such a conscientious and caring person, you wouldn't subconsciously be worried about things going wrong and that is a good thing! calm down, it is o.k!

I think that maybe you have some guilt for a friend or loved one (the plant) who needed your help with a problem (the rat), but you either weren't willing or weren't able. This turned them sour against you (like the viscious cat), and maybe you are trying to excuse it all in all, because you are the one who chose to make them a cat (which you hate) vs. maybe a bear or something else. Choosing the cat sort self justifies whatever action or inaction you took, and erases the guilt. Im not a pro, just throwing my ideas out there. It sounds like the relationship with this person has either ended already, or in some sort of way this person is crying out for help. Does this match anything in your life right now? Good luck

The mouse was a predator of the plant... then it turned into the predator of it's own species (cats are predators of rodents)...sounds like you are dealing with a hierarchy , at work? School? Home? and that you are realizing that there is always a larger predator to take the place of the lesser one and on and on.

I do believe in dreams that foretelling the future, however this does not sound like one of those.

The plant can represent something that you are nurturing, cultivating or taking care of in your life. However, the mouse represent a "pest" and "disease" carrier which comes to destroy what you are cultivating. It can be someone in your life which has the appearance of being innocent, defenceless, and harmless. As you go after the mouse it reflects it's true nature in the form of a white cat. White representing this individual may have a form of godliness, or religious.
