You will have to look at the tires. They do show a facility in Shanghai on the corporate website. I can't find any data on the sites to say where the different tires are made, but the time line for tire develpments only talks of Korea.
Don't go to the Chinese website by the way! I have caught and quarantined 4 trojans in the last few minutes. I doubt if Kumho has done it, so somebody has hacked the Chinese page!

Neither.
As a Tire professional Kumho is owned by Korea. Really good tires. Check the rating(A, AA, AAA) the more the better
check the tire number ranges from (200-700) the higher the number the longer the tire will last.

And make sure you ask the right question, all season, wet track, snow, touring, slick tire

This site will assist you with everything

One of my fav's

It will tell you the info on your next tire purchase.

Check out Cooper tires!! really good tires

And of course General Tire
They are made by a major company called Continental Tires

But they charge a lesser rate..

Cooper tires are cheaper, and are actually better then Perelli's

Kumho tires are made in South Korea. Just like Goodyear, Firestone or any other major manufacturer, they make several different price and performance levels. By the way, they were factory equipment on some of the Daewoo vehicles and we had no problem with them. By a least a mid-level series and I think you'll be happy with them. Hope this helps!

It's a Korea Tire, Quality wise it is on par with the rest of the budget Japanese tire except the Chinese tire, handling wise it is on a scale of 7 out of 10, It came with my Kia Sedona, it can last for 30K miles without any problem.

Kumho's are made in Korea. You will not find that anywhere on the tire as some have suggested. You will however find wording to the effect of "meete American and Austrailian standards. Yes they are cheap, But the quality seems to be better than Bridgestone and Michelan. I run them on my tractor/ trailer and they wear much better.

actually i have no idea what the hell it is. but, if it is made in china, yes!, i am very liberal person however from my personal experience that 99.9% of things that are made from china are not as effective as it should. so stay away from them.
