LOLOLO Oh my God. This is HILARIOUS!! Have fun with the puppies. I bet they will be cute. The damage is done my friend. Once they 'lock and load' all is done.

You roommates dog and the puppies will be OK. There are many people who would want the puppies 2 months after they're born. The puppies will look pretty cool. They'll have the typical small dog look. Their hair won't be too long because the mom is a chihuahua. Your roommate could even sell them for like $200.00 each. If this is the mothers first time, she may only have 1 or 2. Don't "abort" them. You'll be killing wonderful little dogs who have tons of potential to make great pets.

First, go get your male neutered, before he goes crazy.. Yes the female will have both chihuahua and maltepoo puppies in the litter. You should take her in to be spayed.. It's an awful mix of unwanted puppies and you would be better off to put an end to it now.

Wow. The chihuahua mated with the mutt and now the chihuahua is going to have these puppies that will probably get stuck and need the assistance of a vet. This is why everybody stresses the fact that YOU MUST SPAY AND NEUTER!!

DON'T EVER TRY TO PULL BREEDING DOGS APART!!! This is a natural occurrance when dogs breed, its called 'knotting.' Nature ensures that the female is bred through the anatomy of male and female reproductive organs. You could seriously injure both dogs by trying to pull them apart, causing them great pain and sometimes lifelong injuries. If you succeeded in pulling them apart, you really need to take them both to vet and have them examined to make sure that there weren't any internal injuries to the female, and to make sure that the male is still ok as well!

Males can starve themselves once the 'breeding process' has been initiated. The best thing you can do is get him out of the house and away from your roommate's female as much as possible while she is in heat. You also need to get your dog (and your roommate's!) fixed. Take your boy on walks, and make sure he comes home tired. That will help curb his drive to make puppies a little bit, and it might spark his appetite in the process. Don't free feed him, either. Make food something that isn't available all the time, then he might be more likely to show interest in it.

Toy breeds tend to have litters on the small side, sometimes even only having one pup. But if there are more, there is a good chance that the pups will have maltepoo in them as well as chihuahua. Female dogs can concieve from many different males in one litter.

The best thing to do is to consult with your vet about fixing your dogs, and what is best to deal with a pregnant female. There are options out there, and your vet should be involved to make sure the female especially is healthy through her pregnancy and especially through her birth. You could face many complications, so having your vet involved from the beginning is really the safest way to approach your situation.

I hope I was of some help! Feel free to email me with any questions you may still have, I'm always open for business and will do my best to help you as much as I can!

The chihuahua should have been kept seperate from the male. Now she will have pups. Some will be purebred chihuahuas and some will be mixes. If the male is a lot bigger, she will likely need a c-section and they cost $1,000+.

Yes - get them spayed and neutered. Your dogs will be so much happier and you won't need to euthanize a litter of "oops" puppies.
Look around on the Net. There are thousands of dogs in shelters who must be put to sleep because of the terrible pet overpopulation problem. Do you really want to contribute to that?

Why not get the male puppy fixed?
You should of had in fixes at five or six months
I wish I could tell you, if your dog gets pregnant it will with only the other yorkie. You could have mutts. Mutts are cute
Good luck
Get the male dog fixed

*sigh* so.. the chihuahua may have a mixed litter of chihuahua and mutt puppies on the way.

If you don't like the carrying on intact dogs do naturally.. get them spayed/nuetered.

dogs have been known to have litters sired by mulitple males. you won't know till the birth.
if you know your ***** is in heat the best thing to do it keep her in a seperate room away from other males so you won't have any "accidental" matings.
or get her fixed so you don't have to worry in any way
are you not able to put him outside so he is away from her?
he's gonna beg and whine till she's thru her heat.

are you planning to breed the female or just didn't get her fixed yet?
if you are breeding her with a specific male- see if the owner of the male can keep her at thier home till she's done with her heat

The only thing you can do it either have him neutered or her spayed - I recommend both. Otherwise keep them completely separated at all times.
