"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage

I don't think Christian churches should preach against being gay because they neither have the power to cause or to cure homosexuality. Without providing a solution, they're just complaining about a lifestyle that far predates religion. I say, lighten up. There are a lot of more important things in our society to focus on other than homosexuality.

Yes the Christian Churches should preach against being gay. Such a law would be unconstitutional.

This is why Separation of Church and State was instituted. The church cannot dictate the laws of the government, nor can the government control the doctrines of the church. The churches are free to preach whatever they want, the only thing they cannot do is enforce it. The voters can pass a law that the church might support, but the law itself has to be secular.

it's hard to say. regardless of what any of us (in this day and age) think, the Bible blatantly speaks out about homosexuality. it's a black-and-white issue in the Bible, so it's not about preaching against it. most churches don't touch the topic, but if one of the members asks the pastor what the church stance is on the topic, most will say that it's wrong.

purely verify you already know that God loves the guy, in spite of the undeniable fact that, their habit and existence selection will lead them into bondage which will harden their hearts to God's eternal salvation. because of the fact Homosexuality incorporates lots emotional investment, this is rather much impossible to tell the them the actuality without being categorized with very harsh epithets. remember, the sin of homosexuality is not any blacker than my sin. And if the Christian relatively hated homosexuals, they could save the message of salvation to themselves, no longer attempt to alter them, and enable them to circulate on their merry thank you to destruction. yet because of the fact we care, we take the slings and arrows of ninety% of the media and public to talk the actuality. with any luck with love and salt. The Bible states that homosexuality is behavioral, for Paul states that most of the hot believers have been extra from homosexuality in a million Corinthians 6:9-11, don't be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the dominion of God. And SUCH have been a number of YOU. yet you have been washed, yet you have been sanctified, yet you have been justified interior the call of the Lord Jesus and by ability of the Spirit of our God. If it have been a genetic element, then the Bible does not have shown that some have been extra. Your argument is with the Bible. in case you do not have faith the Bible, then your situation is moot. in case you think the Bible is the word of God, then it states which you would be born lower back, switched over by ability of the renewing of your suggestions, washed and cleansed.

Yes,Jesus stated A man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24) Jesus confirmed that those yoked together in marriage should be “male and female.”—Matthew 19:4. The Bible is clear: God does not approve of or condone homosexual practices. He also disapproves of people who “consent with those practicing them.” (Romans 1:32) The well-known Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah reveals God’s feelings about homosexuality. God declared: “The cry of complaint about Sodom and Gomorrah, yes, it is loud, and their sin, yes, it is very heavy.” (Genesis 18:20) - Christians churches should not deviate from Christs teachings. So yes True christians obey God as ruler rather than Man. Acts 5:29

As long as they preach equally against all the thousands of other 'sins' mentioned in the bible. When was the last time you've seen these people condemn those who work on the sabbath, or those who wear clothes with mixed fabrics?

Churches are private organizations (thier tax exempt status not withstanding). They can preach anything they want short of insighting violence.

But, I would not step foot in any organization's building that advocated hatred.

It will never be made illegal to preach against homosexuality. It's called freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Don't worry you and your church will be able to hate for a very long time.
