It is a known fact that Hitler was not a Christian. People become confused because Hitler be-friended the Catholic church for his own selfish gain. He had political ambitions and he knew that if he attacked Catholicism or Christianity he may drag the USA into WWII before he was ready to do so. He knew ultimately that USA would be dragged into this war, but he wanted a firm grip on Europe before USA became involved. Hitler was insane and very much involved in the occult. Had he not been defeated, certainly Christians would have been murdered as well. You are correct in saying that 2/3 of the world population may spend eternity in hell. Only God knows for sure. Jesus did tell us "Wide is the road that leads to destruction and narrow is the road that leads to life"
Matt. 7:14...... He clearly warns us "Most" will choose to reject Him. Today, many deny His very existence, others claim He was a good man, still others claim He was a Prophet. This is definitely how most of the world today thinks of Jesus. Total indifference and unbelief. It is sad that humanity "Chooses" to reject Christ Jesus as God Almighty.
Jesus said it would be so. Praise The Holy Lamb Of God!!

If you were a accountant you would be great! Thank God he does not choose us because of our greatness. He chose us because he made the choice. Any one can say"I am a Chritian" and think they are doing this or that in the name of Christ. You are using a bad example due to and horrific crime done by a man that claimed he was a Christian. Saul did just about the same thing [killed christians]. Do we expect things to change man still is a Christian killer, and God still saves. Men kills in word and deed for his own reasons. Is he sure? Yet he does not really know why. Going to hell...is that not a choice?
If one refuses to believe every word of God and thinks he can live in this world without him...then that is his or her choice. If one does not have a relationship with God and refuse to listen to his call denying the spirit within. What is it that you want. If one does not respect his spouse and complains and never say I love you because or spend time with them. What do that one expect.expecially if the love of their life have warned them about it time and time again. What if you had a father that gave you everything you needed, not everything you wanted and you lacked nothing in this life. You never went to visit him or spend time with him....yet you called and asked for things and he sent them via telegram...what would he do. Stop? It takes time to know God yet some make no effort at all. Then man comes up with comparisons, you did not do it like this or that....you should have would have could have. Will after all the time in the world it is a judgment and that is hell. If one goes to hell it is a choice ..Jesus said do this and we did that. If one says he did not know that is the greatest lie. Jews or any man.....God does love; but if you loved someone and they did not love you back would you leave them alone? Some divorce for less than this!

I'm a Christian, and the church I belong to maintains that Jesus died for the sins of the 'world'.
If you're serious about your question, check out these scriptures that a lot of Christian churches seem to overlook;
Jeremiah 31: 31-34;
Ezekiel 11: 19-20
Ezekiel 16: 41-43
Ezekiel 36: 25-28
Ezekiel 37: 12-14
Btw, Hitler was a Pagan.

Many people have been told that "believing on Jesus" is a single act and that our faith does not have to be strong enough to prompt obedience. But the Bible disagrees. Jesus did not say that people who begin the Christian course are saved. Instead, he said: "He that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved." (Matthew 10:22) The Bible likens our Christian course to a race, with salvation being the prize at its end. And it urges: "Run in such a way that you may attain it."—1 Corinthians 9:24.
Thus, "accepting Christ" involves far more than just accepting the blessings that Jesus' superlative sacrifice offers.
Obedience is required. The apostle Peter says that judgment starts "with the house of God," and adds: "Now if it starts first with us, what will the end be of those who are not obedient to the good news of God?" (1 Peter 4:17) So we must do more than simply hear and believe. The Bible says that we must "become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving [ourselves] with false reasoning."—James 1:22.What does it mean, then, to follow Jesus, and how can we do that? Well, what did Jesus do? Was he immoral? a fornicator? a drunkard? a liar? Was he dishonest in business? Of course not! 'But,' you may ask, 'do I have to clean all those things out of my life?' For the answer, consider Ephesians 4:17 through 5:5. It does not say that God will accept us no matter what we do. Instead, it tells us to be different from the worldly nations who have "come to be past all moral sense, . . . but you did not learn the Christ to be so . . . Put away the old personality which conforms to your former course of conduct . . . Let the stealer steal no more . . . Let fornication and uncleanness of every sort or greediness not even be mentioned among you, just as it befits holy people . . . For you know this, recognizing it for yourselves, that no fornicator or unclean person or greedy person—which means being an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God."
Regarding hell- What, then, is the condition of the dead? When pronouncing sentence upon Adam, God stated: "Dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19) Where was Adam before God formed him from the dust of the ground and gave him life? Why, he simply did not exist! When he died, Adam returned to that state of complete absence of life. The condition of the dead is made clear at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, where we read: "The dead know nothing . . . In the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." Scripturally, death is a state of nonexistence. The dead have no awareness, no feelings, no thoughts.
Since the dead have no conscious existence, hell cannot be a fiery place of torment where the wicked suffer after death. What, then, is hell?
Consider also the case of the righteous man Job, who suffered much. Wishing to escape his plight, he pleaded: "Who will grant me this, that thou mayest protect me in hell [Sheol], and hide me till thy wrath pass? (Job 14:13, Douay Version) How unreasonable to think that Job desired to go to a fiery-hot place for protection! To Job, "hell" was simply the grave, where his suffering would end. The Bible hell, then, is the common grave of mankind where good people as well as bad ones go.

No rapture.
The Orthodox, Reformed, and Roman Catholic churches have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and because they interpret prophetic scriptures in an amillennialist fashion, as being more symbolic than literal.
Christ tells us never to give up on people, but to recognize that sometimes, no matter what we say or do, certain folks just aren't ready yet to move forward or to hear the Good News. In that circumstance, Jesus tells us not to badger, get angry, or condemn. Just move on. Shake the dust from your feet and move on. Hold those folks always in prayer, and hope for the future, but let them be.
It's hard to do, but in the long run, the best gift we have for such folks is our silent, respectful caring and hoping. So when that moment comes, don't judge, just commend them into God's hands and let go!

Hitler was not a true Christian, anyone not born a Jew, Muslim, Hindu or Buddist consider themselves as Christian.
A true Christian would not murder 6 million of God's chosen people, the Jews. Hitler is in the deepest part of hell.
To be a Christian you have to be born-again and obey God's word. Accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the risen Lord who paid the penalty for mankinds sins.

Hitler was NOT a Christian.
We believe the only way to heaven is to be saved since that is what Jesus taught.
That is why we are called "Christians", we follow after Jesus Christ.

First of all, Hilter might have claimed to be a Christian, but he had no fruits that identify him as one. The evidence is that he was not saved.
Second, the Bible is very clear..except you be born again, you shall never enter into eternal life. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me". To be saved means to accept in faith Jesus sacrifical death and atonement for your sin and to turn from sin in your life.

Please explain why Evangelical Christians believe the only way to heaven is to be saved? I don't think 2/3 of the world's population is that bad.
They believe that because that's what the Bible teaches.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Acts 4:11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame."
"If this belief is true Hitler would go to heaven because he was a christian"
No, that's not true. Many people who merely profess to be Christians are not going to be in Heaven. Hitler isn't there either. Here's what Jesus said about that.
Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

First I don't think Hitler was a Christian so your entire argument is irrelevant.
....... but theoretically if he converted in his last moment, I think it is a great example. If God can forgive Hitler, how much easier would it be for him to forgive you? To have mercy on you? If God can save the worst of sinners if they seek repentance, then you are really without excuse for ignoring God.
