Yes, you can install Microsoft Office with Word / Excel / Excel on a WindowsME system, as long as you use Office 97. Not sure if that is still available for purchase.

A good alternative Office program, is Open Office found here: http://www.openoffice.org < works just as well as Microsoft Office and it's FREE

I doubt it. I would suggest upgrading to windows XP I have a computer that was once Windows ME and it works just find with XP. All I had to do was put the maximum amount of RAM the motherboard could hold.

check your local second hand stores and your local buy and sell. You'll find an old copy for 10 bux or less. Be sure it has the 25 letter/number product key with it!..good luck.
