I've got a new apartment taht is virtually a blank canvas... All white walls and even a creme colored sofa... I'm not worrying about the kitchen yet, but I do want to go ahead and decorate my living, bed, and bathroom... If you have any ideas or know where I can find any accessories that fit what I am looking for, please let me know!
For the Bedroom, I was thinking pink and green and white.... Though I'm not sure where I could find a comforter and accessories and which should be my main color and which should be accents..
For the livingroom... I don't know, I was thinking the whole jungle//palm tree look that is so in right now? But again, I'm at a loss for how to pull it off and where to find the stuff to decorate it reasonably.
For the bathroom... I've posted asking for help, but only got two answers. I'm really open for whatever I guess. Things I DONT WANT-- Navy blue, duckies, froggies, flowers.

One thing you might do for your bedroom is find the comforter you like first, then pull some colors from that for your walls and accessories. If you could find a solid color comforter let's say in a light green then you could leave your walls white and add pink accessories like pillows that have pink flowers or checks. If you find a pink comforter then use green accessories. You could also go with a print or strips for your comforter and pull colors from that for your accessories. If your allowed to paint your walls colors than just pull a color from the printed comforter. Walmart has some beautiful comforter sets out now.
As for the living room. With your cream colored couch I would go with a leporad print for pillows on the couch. Maybe have 4 pillows with 2 different prints. Then I would get bamboo place mats that you can find about anywhere. I would use them for the background in picture frames. Make your frames black. Then get some clipart of Jungle animals and glue on the bamboo. Get a dark green rug to go in front of the couch. Have dark wooden bowls or plates on your coffee table and end table that you can put candles on. For your lamps you can stencil big plam leaves on them or even just cut them out of clipart and glue on. Get a few coconuts and place on the table or floor in a basket. Have green plants all over. Buy or paint a big picture of a tropical plant and place behind the sofa. You can even make you a palm tree. Go to your carpet dealer and ask for one of the tubes they wrap the carpet on. Wrap it in burlap and staple it on. At the top you staple on the plams that you have made from poster boad and painted. Cut v groves on the edges of the leaves. Bend your poster board leaves and let them hang down. You will have to have a base to set it on. Get a large pot and fill it full of sand and put it in. You could then place some coconuts under it. Just do a little at a time and it will progess to what you want.

Now the bathroom. Pull one of the colors you like from the other rooms. Make that your main color. Then pull another color from another room and use that for your towels or rugs. Then take a third color for picture frames bowls soaps and ect. When your done all your rooms will flow together. If you have one color, say green, if you have a little green in every room it will make everything blend together well. Good luck, it is fun to decorate. Just remember it takes time and money. Go slow and do what you can. Also keep this in mind. Your allowed to change your mind as you go.
