After I finish my lower and upper body, which consistes of about 8 machines total, I always feel nauseated. I wouldn't mind, exept that I like to bike or run for about 15 min. after my upper and lower body. I do drink a lot of water in between, but I just would like to know why I feel this way after my workout.

You are either eating too heavy before your workout or are experiencing low blood sugar. Drink this instead of water, it's not exactly tasty, but it will help you avoid nausea:

1-cup cold water
1-cup fruit juice (apple or orange)*
1 teaspoon sugar or honey
1 pinch of salt
Mix, chill, and enjoy!

*One cup of apple or orange juice has about 26-30 grams of carbohydrate. Keep in mind that not all fruit juices contain the same amount of carbohydrate, so read the labels when you want to try a new flavor. Just remember to keep the total carbohydrate level to about 14 grams per 8oz.

Or, buy a commercial replacement fluid, like Gatorade, which has 16 grams of carbs in it, but does not have natural juices.

First off your body might be too tired for such a work out. Usually feeling nauseated or dizzy during a workout means you need to stop because you are over exerting yourself. I usually don't workout as hard during the summer due to the fact that I work outside in the heat and at the end of the day my body is exhausted. Also your body may not be well nurished before your workout. Take a protien drink one hour to half an hour before your workout. This gives your body something to work with. Oh, and if you just started working out, start slow and with less until your body is ready for more. Im not sure if it makes a difference but I target areas instead of doing both upper and lower body workouts on the same day. As for running after your workout, I run before my workout as a warm up for my body.

Do you work out first thing in the morning? That will always make me feel nauseated because I don't have any food in my system yet. A banana about 30-45 minutes before will work, and drink lots of water all day...Not just right before you work out. If you work out first thing in the morning, drink a big glass of water right before you go to sleep.
You could also be overworking your body. Maybe you should do upper body/run one day and lower body/bike the next. And take your time on the machines- they are muscle building, not aerobic. I've seen too many people who do their reps way too fast, and that doesn't accomplish building muscle like what the machines are made for.

You can avoid feeling nauseated by doing warm ups first before you exercise. 10-15 minutes in the treadmill will do. Doing warm ups will help your body prepare for your upper and lower body workouts.

Also don't force your body to finish all workouts, it would only ruin the results you want to achieve. Quality is better than quantity. If you're feeling a bit nauseated or dizzy already, stop and rest for a while. Hope this helps!=)

Are you eating properly? Make sure you're getting in good amounts of proteins, carbs and keep your electrolytes in balance by drinking gatorade or some other comparable drink. If that doesn't work then try to slow it down a little bit- you might be overdoing it.

low blood sugar levels perhaps? eat small meals every 3 hours to combat this, and eat foods high in complex carbs. and relax when you train.
