Ok, I have red eyes. It's not extremely bad but it definetly isn't going away or getting any better. I know i remeber not having this when i was little but i now have it. I tried talking to my eye doctor about it but she just said it might be someting with the environment that is causing me to have allergies! Aka sneezing to a certain thing but I don't think i have allergies. Ugh! someone plz help me if you are a expert in the study of the eye! A cure or a recommened product will get a a best answer =).

Listen to your doctor, she actually examined your eyes and obviously thought they looked allergic. Allergic eyes typically have poor tear quaility, slight redness of the white part and puffy eyelids with little bumps on the inside.

Allergies can manifest in various ways; some people will sneeze and have a stuffy nose, others will have a chronic little cough, others get red eyes.

You can try over the counter oral anti histamines like Claritin or see your family doctor for anti allergy eye drops like Patanol. If they help the redness then you could consider allergy testing and allergy shots or just continue with Claritin and Patanol.

Are you a smoker or share space with a smoker? Smoke can cause red eyes, as can not enough sleep, drugs and alcohol.
