At the advice of people on Yahoo answers and my dating bible Cosmopolitan, it says, confidence, confidence, guys love confidence. I came to the conclusion this afternoon that I will NEVER be confident. So should I just get a female circumcision? Everyone has SOME type of insecurity, except a small few, so how can any person every truly be confident. I am only confident about 3 days a week when I get a little burst of it. When I date a guy I am the never jealous or mean type. Yet when I walk by a random girl in public she gets angry that her man looks at me. Notice I said her man, she has a man and I don't. It seems guys go for the jealous, desperate girls who give up their whole lives for a man, so how is it that people can say guys pick confident girls for relationships when the jealous, crazy girls have the all the men and the live in boyfriends? Yet I and girls like me have no one?

BabeHeart, if there were things about me I didn't like that i could change I would, but the more you try to change the more you stay the same. Or just plain old try hard to change but can't.

Confidence doesn't mean you have no insecurities...it just means you know what they are and have them under control. Confidence is far more appealing than insecurity and desperation, but don't confuse it with arrogance (which isn't appealing).
Just be you...if there's something about you that you don't like, then change it...when you are happy with you, others will be too. ☺

Guys do like confidence but to a point and no, you can't be confident all the time. You should find a guy that complaiments who you are and makes you a better person and makes you feel more confident. If you go 3 days, your doing better then most girls already. As far as guys looking at you...the grass is always greener on the other side.

Having confidence starts with accepting the things about yourself that you cannot change. Or even the things that you can but haven't yet. (you know, that 5 or 10 pounds that we all seem to want to lose) You have to give yourself permission to love yourself. I don't mean in an arrogant, self-absorbed way, either. People like to be around people who are happy, energetic, and positive. If you are always thinking about your thighs or belly or whatever little thing about yourself that you don't like, guys will notice. You will send out the message that there is something wrong with you...when there isn't.
We all have days when we don't feel pretty...just remember that no one else knows you feel that way unless you tell them. Tell your best friend or your mom...they will always talk you off that ledge. I never discuss my insecurities with guys...they don't see it, they don't understand it, and probably don't care as much as we want them to.
Stand tall, smile, listen, and engage people in conversation. If you listen...they will come. (everyone likes to talk about themselves...if you let them, they will think you are brilliant!)

you will get confident one day - it's just depends on each person and each person is different...you will find your comfort zone and one day, you'll feel strong and show it off! As for the desperate girls getting men...trust me, it's not worth it...and don't sell yourself out for it...the reason why they get it is because men KNOW they're desperate, desperate means vulnerable and vulnerable means an "easy" girl - who guys can easily take advantage of...and you don't want that - trust me, you'll find your inner confidence one day

well, i have to agree with most 'posts', especially "babeheart"; "flashdman" and "crazy sexy girl"....please forgive me if i have any typos in your name. they gave great advise, and don't EVER forget (although a cliché",) beauty comes from 'within'.
now i'm saying that when i'm cute at 5'3 and 110lbs.... yet i've met women who are bigger and soooooo sexy, if i weren't into men, even i'd go....WOW.... but REALLY, sexiness comes from within....honest...my step daughter was a big girl, but man....she had more sexappeal than her thin sister (mind you, thin sister got a lot of 'hits'), only because she felt confident and sexy and MAN O MAN it showed in her whole demeanor....
really, it's who you are...... PERIOD... anyone who doesn't see the 'sexiness' or 'femme fatale' that you are.... totally lost out.... YOU GO GIRLS....ALL OF YOU... big or small....miaou....XO
