No it was a war winning thing to do. We were in a world war when the Atomic Bomb was invented.

lets look at this question, First what exactally is a Christian thing to do? I have yet to see anyone that claims to be a Christian, actually truly follow the path of a christian. The christian faith is so lost from itself that it is not funny, not one person today that claims to be a christian, knows anything of the true christian faith, the christian faith has been altered so many times through out history that the teachings in the modern day bible are just a bastardized version very far from the original teachings. The Original texts do not contain half of what christians view as the gospel truth.
Now on to the atomic bomb, im not sure if it could be called a christian thing, but it was a very American thing to do. We as a world power must use all our powers to force our will on the worlds populace, we must be a conquering nation. No culture has ever stood the test of time with out being a warring nation. and for the USA to continue to be a Governing Country we must anihalate anyone who posess even the smallest threat to our rise to power

Do Christians participate in worldly wars? Thats a yes.
