... between an old english, dorset old time, victorian. I cant really tell what the differences are. I'm not interested in english bulldogs due to the health problems caused by their body structure.

Well actually there are 4 different distinct bulldog breeds well five if u count the miniture old english but not by AKC.....old english, english, american bulldog and the french. I suggest that u research these breeds on the net and make an informed choice.

They all have health problems, and they all stink more compared to most other breeds of dogs, possibly due to skin problems within that type of breed. I'd say none of them, go with a boxer or rottweiler if you really want something that looks "cool" or whatever, just make sure that it's from a decent breeder that breeds them for family pets or show animals.

Aww you should go for the English Bulldogs...they are so worth it! Get one like Uga...Go Dawgs! :)
