To novangelis:

The question would imply that the only answers should be from those who the question is addressing, and the second question should only be answered by those who answer no. If people do not want to formally address a question they are at fault not the asker.

Do you find the majority of people ramble on without saying what you need to hear? It seems to be the simplest thing to do and the easiest way to get 2 points is to write no or yes, doesn't it!? (Direct answer to your questions is NO.)

Yes.

On the other hand, some questioners don't know what a yes/no question is. Take a glaring example of poor form:

"...if you believe in the age of accountability then...do you believe that everyone who was baptized before reaching that age will be condemned after reaching that age? if not why even bother getting baptized?"

The questioner stated that these two conditional question were a yes/no question, when in fact, only if you meet the first condition does it ever become possible to use a yes / no answer and the question set ends in an open ended question.

Can you believe that the questioner had the gall to assert that these form a yes/no question?

Perhaps the answerers see the question as too vague to give it a yes or no answer.

yes, because most questions cane be twisted to make "yes" or "not " mean different things than what the answerer intended.
