Projection TV problem...help!!!?

I have had my projection TV made from Aspect...which is an off brand of Hitachi, for a little over a year. The picture is very redish maroone and dark. I have played with the brightness etc settings, and have tried to realign the tubes. Nothing works. Could it be a bulb is out? help!

Is it a DLP or? ~
Need more info. If a DLP with a lamp, the lamp may be going out...

If this is a CRT-type projector, you could have a defective tube. If the green tube stopped working the picture would appear magenta-colored, and there would be no way to adjust it to get the right color.
