He was a great teacher, I love him for that. I just wish more "christians" understood what he taught.

What way? What did HE show us? The path that I follow is based on the blood that HE shed for me. If JESUS did not die for me or anyone else, then this statement summarizes everything:
1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
This passage refers to HIS resurrection, but, goes along with the importance of HIS death for us.
GOD bless

As a Christian - yes. Just as Muslims love and revere Muhammad. But there would be no power on earth to save me from my sins.

If Jesus did not die for us (and was resurrected) it could leave the impression that his ability is limited to or beyond the grave.

Yes I would. First i know he didn't die for no reason he had a purpose and even if we knew that purpose people would know that he did something for us all.

A hypothetical question about a theoretical event. Won't this rip a hole in the space time continuum or something?
