Well there could be a few things. One of course is she is with pups, find out when her last heat was.Take her to the vet to find out. Also she could be going through a fake pregnancy which in simple terms means when she went in her last heat her body tricked her into thinking she is pregnant, this problem will normally go away in a few weeks. You need to find out if she is pregnant though because a fake pregnancy normally happens in dogs who have had a litter before

The best thing is take her to the vets if they lied about this who kow what else they may have lied about.
My sister got a dog it is a toy poodle the end of May and was told teh dog was definately pregnant teh vet had confirmed the pregnancy and she was due the end of June.she never had pups and a week ago she went into heat so there is no way she was pregnant.
Sometime they may only have 1 or 2 pups and not show.

the indicators you describe sound like a pretend being pregnant. some canine will produce milk and each so often even "undertake" a domestic dog- often a toy or crammed animal- a pair of months as quickly as they are in warmth. fake being pregnant often starts off approximately 2 or 2 a million/2 months after a warmth cycle, in spite of the undeniable fact that it may proceed a pair of weeks. as long because of the fact the indicators are gentle and don't persist too long, there is not any reason for alarm. If it persists greater suitable than 2-3 weeks, or if the mammary glands exchange into swollen and painful, or if there's a vaginal discharge, you are able to desire to take her on your veterinarian.

Thats probably a pretty good sign that shes got some little ones in her belly. Take the dog to the vet ASAP, before you have puppies on the ground and don't know what to do.

It sounds to me as though she is either pregnant or going through a false pregnancy. You should take her in and have a vet examine her to find for sure what's going on. I would also contact her previous owner and see what I could find out.

She could be going through a pseudo-pregnancy. Also known as 'false pregnancy'. They will have most of the same symptoms, and some are so convincing, they even fool the vets if there's no x-ray or ultrasound done. However, since unusual discharges from the nipple can indicate mammary cancer, have her checked over by a vet.

She could be having a false pregnancy or she is pregnant. The only way you'll know for sure is to have your vet check her. All the best;~}

Well, was she in heat recently and did you allow her to get bred? If not, she's not pregnant. She could be having a false pregnancy, though. She'd be much better off being spayed - then you wouldn't have to worry about unwanted pregnancy and she'd have much less chance of getting cancer!

Maybe you should talk to the old owners again. She might have had puppies and they didn't even know or they're lying to you.
