Do you think there is anyting wrong with a daugther asking her father permission to have sex?

I know someone whose daughter is 19 and actually asked her father permission, or if he would mind if she had intercouse. i advised him to tell her to speak to a woman because i don't think it's appropriate for a father and daugther to discuss her sex life.

omg, as a woman to be able to have that kind of relationship with your father would be truely amazing. men are so much better at these things than women. tell you friend he is very lucky

I think its totally appropriate for a daughter to ask her dad that question, who can better understand men and tell her what men expect at sex than her father. He may also be able to persuade her to wait until the right person comes along to give herself too. Her father can also tell her what to look for in men, because he knows what to look for. Women cannot all the time tell our daughters what men are looking for we have never been men. I applaud this daughter for going to her father. You find a lot of single men raising daughters and if the mother is not around, it becomes the fathers responsibility to talk about sex to his daughter. A good father can look at a young man and see everything that the girl doesn't see, because he knows what to look for. This is just my opinion. But again I applaud any daughter who feels comfortable enough to talk or ask dad about sex.

Heck, thats really good, considering most daughters don't bother to ask to have sex to their parents especially their dads (most tend to be controlling), they just go out and do, but I can understand him wanting her to talk to a woman because she can relate more and get questions answered answered easily, he might even be uncomfortable with talkin to her about it

There is nothing wrong with a father and daughter relationship....as long as they are communicating in a healthy manner.

something about this just seems weird... i would never even talk to my father about sex. i talk to my mother about it, but to me that is disgusting for a female to ASK her father if she can have sexual intercourse :(
