Ticks will typically leave a small bump and a scar for several weeks after being removed. It will go away. If it gets redder or larger, there could be an infection in the area--keep an eye on it and let your vet take a look if you're not sure.

Sounds like you did not get the head of the tick out. I would definately take it to the Vet.

You probably didn't get the head of the tick out. Take it to the vet and get it looked at....ever heard of tick fever?

this is why you should never "pull" ticks off.

spray carefully all around it with flea & tick spray holding the bottle very close to the tick. it will back out & die on its own

You may not have gotten the head out. I would have a vet check him out with a magnifying glass .
