YES!
Welding cable is ACTUALLY
-More flexible
-More conductive
-Less expensive
then typical car audio power cable.
The only thing is that the casing on it is not as tough, so just use more precaution when installing it.
Good Luck!

Yes you can although the welding cable will be much less flexible and difficult to work with. The wire casing may not be protected from the environment in an automobile also....road chemicals and dirt, UV rays from the sun, high heat...etc.

I used to sell welding cable to a stereo installer. He didn't say there was any difference.

None of those solutions look sufficient. because of the fact which you already had an after industry radio on your vehicle, you're unlikely to decide for any of the kits, harnesses, or notwithstanding persons are telling you to get except you took that out to boot, besides the indisputable fact that, once you purchase the areas on your vehicle initially, you do not many times take them out because of the fact they have been made for that distinctive vehicle. So, what you will decide for is electric powered tape and strippers (to strip the colour section off of the wires.) while you're connecting this to the production facility harness then you definately will might desire to try this interior the vehicle, besides the indisputable fact that, in case you had an after industry harness in the vehicle once you placed the after industry radio in, you are able to unplug the harness and try this with ease. on the back of the radio, you have a harness with stray colored ends...on the harness in the vehicle, you have stray colored ends. What you will do is strip the colour (a pair of a million/2 inch or so) and tournament up the colors by utilising twisting the wires jointly. then you definately will might desire to wrap electric powered (black tape) around the leads to reserve that not one of the cord instruct. Now, i don't understand a thank you to take the radio (in case you have one) out of your vehicle or something in view it quite is diverse for each vehicle, yet i'm advantageous you are able to look those classes up online. besides the indisputable fact that, even however you opt for to do it your self, I do recommend going to Circuit city (i don't understand how the different installers artwork) because of the fact they sauter the wires jointly formerly putting the electrical powered tape on so as that it is greater secure...and prefer somebody else mentioned...speedier. it may take them as long as an hour, yet many times the time is around a a million/2 an hour. At Circuit city the cost is approximately $50.

Don't use exposed metal wire for electrical purposes. You'll short-circuit something and destroy your equipment. Always use wire that's coated in a rubber/plastic sheath to insulate it.
