It is possible that the theory of 6000 BCE came about from written language development.
Carbon dating shows us that the world is much older than that.

Civilization is about 6,000 years old. There is a strong indication that as the last major ice age ended, modern languages distributed. Recording systems necessary for administering cities led to written languages.
I like your thought. It's a good parabolic take on Genesis.

The world is much older than 6000 years. There are man-made structures still extant today that are older than that.
There was no "fall from grace", this is a Bronze Age myth invented to keep the weak-minded under control.

The bible actually has two creation stories. The first being in Chapter 1, the second being in Chapter 2. The first creation he says as being good, this was the creation of the physical earth. The second creation story refers to the creation of mankind which could also refer to the creation of modernized society, which was around 6,000 years ago. Perhaps this date refers to the "creation of man."

and civilisation is around 10,000 years old. i think these beliefs are "based on a true story" as it were. there were important changes at certain times, but they did not signify the creation of the world. all that stuff about "the word" does remind me of people in love with a new gadget (writing).

Apart from the absurd, "6000 year old" Earth, you are correct in thinking that words are power, words are magic, words hold deep mysteries. sadly that is true only for the poorly educated and gullible, who even today believe magic words in magic books spoken by magic men doing magic tricks !

Nah, too easy.
Plus, with Abrahamic religions, there is no accounting for cave drawings, etc.

Any way you look at it, the world is not 6000 years old. You appear to be grabbing at straws.
