They are glued or afixed t othe rim with a foam tape to the rim prior to the race. A lot of tire changers also have a few on their helmets or the back of their gloves incase they loss one in the process of the change.

The lug nuts are glued onto the rims. When they change btires, the lugs are ready to go.

they are glued to the new tire. that will make it easier for the crew to put the tires on so they dont take more time putting them on the car.

Well let me tell you their right behind the muffler belt. If you look real hard you'll be sure to find them if their not there then check the glove compartment. Hee Hee!!!!

like everybody said, they are glued on before each race and they have spares if they fall off. if this happens, it could cost you some positions on pit-road and maybe even the race.... and those who think i'm cleo....that was not funny, it was an OPINION i had..Dont hate.
