Heroes. It has fascinating characters, great acting (especially by Masi Oka and Ali Larter), and outstanding writing. I love the way the story lines started out being completely independent of each other, then began to intersect in surprising ways. Who would have guessed that Matt Parkman's first encounter with Jessica would be when she was hired to assassinate the same man he was hired to guard? That's the kind of intriguing story line it takes to make a serialized show worth watching week after week.

Grey's Anatomy and Brothers and Sister's are my favourite US imports because I think the storylines are well written and they provide characters you care about and characters you hate which is always, for me anyway, the sign of a good drama. My favourite British shows are Spooks, Hustle and Shameless.

Manstrokewoman on BBC Three. One of the best but most under-rated comedies produced just lately. Probably the only good comedy that's been on BBC Three. Original and innovative and, most importantly, funny. I fancy Daisy Haggard too. And the other two (can't remember their names, sorry).

CSI Vegas! For the silly storylines, forensics (Which have always interested me) and grissom (for his intelligence no attraction there folks). Gore and being good at guessing the ends
