Yes.
Think about some other technologies that at some past time where very expensive, but nowadays verry common, like computers and mobile phones. Back then, you would never have imagined that some 10-15 years in the future a lot of teenagers would have a phone. The same will happen with the i-phone.
Some years from now, the mobile communications will be so advanced as to everybody have one, probably. And of course, for a more accesible price.

i think that unless they keep selling alot they wont lower the price anytime soon. Maybe when they start selling less and less then they will lower the price. But not any time soon.

Every few months or so, they go down probably about $30-$50.
