Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. You cannnot change anyone. You have to be a good example for them yourself. You can tell them things but they have to make the final decision on their own. No matter how difficult it is to let them fall ontheir face, they need to to find out how to make it on their own. And he happy doing it. Tell them to never give up. tell them what is good about them. Tell them their strengths, weaknesses, ask them their likes and dislikes. that should do it.

Why would you want to? Either you like them for who they already are, or you don't.
Then again, maybe the change needs to come from you. That is not to put you down, but you cannot change another person. You can only change yourself. For instance, if you feel a need to grow (emotionally, spiritually or mentally) then go ahead and mature. Sometimes you outgrow friends and that is okay.
But you can't change others.

People will change when they want to. in their own time and at their own pace. It's nice you want to help someone. suggest some self help books for them to read.

Why would you want to change someone? If you dont like them, leave them alone. You either like that person for whom they are or leave them be. Simple as that.

you can't change someone and confidence must come from within. what you can do is be a good listener and advise only when asked.
