Yes they make a special paint for ceramic tile. It is expensive but worth it in the long run.
It might be just me but I have never seen painted ceramic tile that looked good. But that is just my opinion for what it is worth.

Degloss, TSP, gripper primer, and then paint. Home Depot should have more info.

um...NO! cover them in lard! and then make a paste out of some slug! and put it on your wifes nose hairs!
