So many times I have heard Christians say that they are the only right religon, and that all those who are not Christians are going to hell basically. Well, this doesn't seem fair to me. WHY would any fair God make those who live in a different secluded part of the globe, who never heard of christianity a day in their life, go to hell??? Well the answer is simple, ALL RELIGONS are correct.
God created different groups of people and placed them in different parts of the globe. Each of these groups had their own religons which all lead to God. This would explain why white people, native americans, africans, asians, basically all have their own religons.

So in short, all MONOTHEISTIC religions are correct. Most monotheistic religions involving "God" were at some time corrupted and pagan elements added(Look at Christianity). For instance the devil is basically a counter-balance for God(good versus evil). But the basic idea exists in all monotheistic religons, God either (1. created the universe and everything in it or (2. there is a supreme ruler/spiritual being
so when all the man-made fantasy is stripped down from all major monotheistic religons, you get basically the same religon.

For Example:
There is a God like figure in Buddhism which is supposed to be the "supreme ruler" or something like that.
As for native americans most believed in the "Great Spirit" which was supposed to be the supreme ruler over all other powers. Yes they did have a bunch of small gods but they also worshiped one "Great Spirit" that supposedly created the earth. Oh yeah and I also read before that some native american religons re-called a "great flood" that swallowed the earth. Sound familiar?
aha found a link on the native american version of the "great flood"

Why should Monotheism be declared correct as a whole yet Polytheism be discounted?! As long as one person believes it, then it is true, for them, and that is all that matters. No one should judge others on their beliefs, nor try to "convert" or force others to see things the same way that they do.

All religions have equal validity and there is not one that is better then the other. The notion that people in secluded parts of the world without hearing of the religion being sent to hell however is false, church teaching/doctrine on that matter says that if they were to hear of the faith that they would convert and be saved, i know its odd and overconfident. Also paganism did not corrupt any religions. Almost all religions can be traced into paganism from some point, even the christian cross is a pagan symbol of man and the elements of the world. All religions no matter what they are have equal possibility and in my opinion are correct, because the people who believe in those religions for them it is a belief that is at the core of their being, to take that away from them and say what they believe and have based their life is a lie or false would be to provoke anger and conflict. Besides non of us truly know if one religion is the only true correct one but each of us has our own interpretation and ideas of which is, naturally Jews say theres is, Christians say theres is too, as with Muslims, etc.... because for the people of those faiths to them it is true and the path for their "salvation" and journey towards enlightenment and fulfillment.

I'm Christian. I do belive some Christian beliefs are correct because we follow Christ (most of us anyway), but i'm not completely sure any religion is completely correct. I think also that if people are raised a certain way that it's not their fault if they don't belive in God or don't do God's will. There' are some people who know nothing about other religions. I think God will try to consider some of these things. I agree with that 'Christianity was corrupted by Paganism' thing. I mean when most people think about Christmas (even Christians) they think of Christmas trees, Santa Clause and lots of other things that are Pagan. And even Easter. The Easter bunny is totally Pagan. I also have this kinda stupid theory that whatever a certain person is taught in their religion is going to be true. Like if someone belives in reincarnation they may be reincarnated.

You commit the fallacy of oversimplification. Since each religion claims to be the only one--in its teachings--that eliminates the possibility that they are all really different ways to the same place.
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." I think that statement is pretty clear.
There is one way in which what you are saying might be true, however. Missionaries have found that all tribes have a knowledge and understanding of one true God who is Creator and Ruler over all things, even when they may no longer worship him. That one true God may be THE GOD. It is not surprising to me that people everywhere would describe a "great flood" if there really was a great flood that flooded the entire earth. That would simply be memory of an historical event.
You make another incorrect assumption when you assume that those living in different religions and cultures have no way to hear about Jesus and so are doomed to hell. I've heard many people from many nations tell of how they surrendered to God and asked for truth and within days they had someone come and tell them about Jesus.
I heard a tribal man talk about how after his prayer, he met Jesus personally out in the jungle. Jesus himself revealed himself to the man and he then spread the word throughout his whole tribe.
I heard a Muslim man tell of how he came across a Bible and began to study it secretly and came to know Jesus on his own by reading and studying the Bible.
God is not limited in the ways we are limited. He invites all to seek him and promises to be found to those who do. He reveals himself to all through Creation so that we are "without excuse" if we choose to ignore him. He says that Jesus is the only way, and then he provides Jesus to those who seek sincerely after God. And is clearly saving people from "every nation, tribe, and tongue" just as he promised.

If they Were all Correct....it would Explain a few Things....
The Platypus, which was Probably created just after the Shrooms......wow, let there be light, look at my hand man!
God is Schizoid.
Actually, I figure God wants Worship, and Cares about the Devotion, not the Rituals. All Religions could be a Wheel whose Spokes lead to the One God. Man is his Lust for Power, creates Churches for Secular, rather than Spiritual Gain. Of course, some Religions expect 3 Billion Buddhists to be Damned to Hell, while Teaching God LOVES Everyone.

How can all religions be the same when they all have different views?
Some believe everyone goes to heaven while others believe only those who are saved do. How can they both be right?
There are so many differences between religions that there is no way you can claim they are the same. What about those who believe there are multiple gods and those who don't believe there is a god but instead believe in some other wild story?

Even Christianity as a religion is wrong...In fact when you think of God, He truly has nothing in the religious world..It was the religious world along with the political world that put the Lord to death.
What is reality is having an abiding day by day existence in knowing and Loving Jesus.. Everything else religious is of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil...Partaking of the Lord as the Tree of Life is where the real deal is at:)
Have a bite:)

How can all religions be correct if they all believe they are the only correct religion? In the very doctrine of most mainstream religions is the idea that they are the one true faith and all others are false. Thus it makes one wrong to call all the others wrong and we hit a catch 22 that prevents any but one from being right. So either there is one true faith, or they are all steaming loads of crap. I am voting steaming loads of crap.
One more thing, why make it only possible for the monotheists to be right? If you are giving them all carte blanche, why not the polytheists? There isn't one true church but there is only one true God?

All religions can't be correct-they contradict one another and are mutually exclusive. If I am a Christian and say that I believe that Christ is the son of God and that the ONLY way to salvation is through him, then I can't also say that salvation can be achieved by following the teachings of Islam or Judaism.
It's not only Christians who preach the idea of one true religion. If you have any doubt about that, refer yourself to one of the many Islamic fundamentalist groups in the world today, or to the Israelis, who not only believe that Judaism is the one true religion but that they are indeed God's chosen people. There are extremist groups representing every religion, and often even individual sects within that religion.

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, no matter where or how far you live and the Gospel has been preached in nearly every part of the world. This was the plan of God that all people have the same opportunity to be saved. Religion is simply man's search for God. God revealed himself to mankind in the form of Jesus so that he could put an end to religious confusion. But people still reject Him and that's why there's still religious confusion.

Okay, you have 'answered your own question' for all of the 'monotheistic' religions ... but what about the 'equal possible validity' of the POLYTHEISTIC religions. You can NOT say that 'all religions are correct' if you don't also include those that are POLYTHEISTIC ... so you can only say that there is the 'possibility that all Monotheistic religions are correct' or that 'ALL religions, including Monotheistic, Polytheistic, and others have at least some 'correctness' to them.' I am a Catholic, but in this case, I'd prefer the SECOND way of stating your 'case.'
