I have chosen my best answer... but ran out of room in the explanation... So, anyway, I'll come back after the race & add a comment of how I did! So, check back Monday or later for the results! :)
Thanks to all who participated!
(EVEN you, Sunshine! Thanks for stopping by to say "hi"!) :)

In group A you need to run Jimmie Johnson if you haven't used him 9 times yet. He is the undisputed king of the 1 1/2 mile intermediate tracks and has a lifetime 3.6 average finish there (a WAY better avg. than anyone with more than 2 races there). Matt Kenseth is another good pick, it's basically his "home" track. He has 5 top 10s out of 6 races run at Chicagoland.
In group B I would take Kyle Busch, Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray and Mark Martin(if you haven't used him up, take Denny Hamlin if you have). Wait to pick who you run until after the practices and qualifying. I look more at practices as a whole than how they qualified.
In group C you should take Reed Sorenson and JJ Yeley. JJ has better equipment but Reed likes the intermediate tracks a lot so watch their practices as well. I hope this helps some.

I do not know the categories, yet I may be able to help.

I personally would take the following.
Denny Hamlin. He had a decent run here last season, in his first race at Chicagoland. He has run good at most every race this season. He should do well this week.
Jeff Gordon. He won here last year. He has been the most consistent finisher this season. He has a lot of luck on his side as well.
Jeff Burton. Having a good year. Took the pole at Chicagoland, last season. He drove to a second place finish.
Kyle Busch. The kid can drive. HMS is on fire. He finished third here, last season, and he is a more improved driver, this year.

Bobby LaBonte could be a possible dark horse for you. I am pretty sure that not to many people will pick him. That would give you a chance to pick up some points. He had one of his better races, at Chicagoland, last year. He is overdue for a good finish.

Jeff Gordon is the defending champion, and has 4 top 5s out of the six races run there. Jimmie Johnson would be another good pick as hes finished in the top 6 in each of the 5 races hes run there. I'd also go with Dale Jr as he finished 5th last year and won in 2005. And also maybe Matt Kenseth, who always runs well at the D-shaped ovals. Other solid choices would be the 5, 29, 31, and 99. For drivers in lower categories, the 41 finished 6th there last year, and the 07 finished 9th. Good luck.

I am not on Yahoo Fantasy Racing, so I don't really now anything about any categories, but I am a NASCAR.com nut and am in that fantasy racing.

Jeff's record at Chicago is very good, so I would at least consider that.

And honestly, I would probably stay away from Dale Jr. Now before any of his fans go nuts on me, let me explain. Ever since he announced that he is moving to my fave driver's team, Hendrick, the money support from the team has not really been there.

As hard as it is for me to say this, Kyle Busch might be a choice. On a side note, the faster we can get him off of Hendrick the better off we will be. He has a decent win record, but he is annoying as hell! (personal feelings)

Well I'm going to the Chicagoland Speedway and have for the last few years. Matt Kenseth & Jeff Gordon are both good choices at that track. That is unless they end up taking each other out.... Dale Jr. would also be a good addition to your fantasy picks.

Ok, I wont' lie... I am not a Nascar fan, but my husband is. He loves Nascar! I actually wanted to get him the Nascar experience thing where he gets to go 8 laps in a car up to 180 mph. He wouldn't let me spend the money on it. It was going to be around 400 dollars. I guess I'll just have to suprise him one day that way he can't tell me no. =) Anyway, back to your question--- I'm sorry, I don't know, but I hope you get the right picks!

Go with Roush, you could never go wrong with Roush at downforce tracks. Kenseth if you want almost a guarenteed top 5 run and almost won last year. Edwards and McMurray are turning the season around and the Biff is always a threat.

take 1 each from roush and hendrick if possible. then go with the hottest driver going, martin truex jr.. he has the most points in the most recent races. the fourt is a toss up between denny hamlin, tony stewart and ryan newman. all of them are good choices for you.
