A gyrometer measures the angular speed of the rotating body on which it is fixed. I am sure.

I think you mean a gyroscope... Gyroscopes don't neccesarily "measure" anything directly like a ruler, but they can be calibrated with other equipment to measure things such as inclination angles relative to something and angular accelerations.

Im not positive but I think its measures the speed of wind.
