Every person is entitled to their own way of life, opinion, beliefs, etc... so if someone is mad at you for being gay then so what, your comfortable with who you are you can still believe in Christ or whoever you want, your sexuality does not prohibit you from knowing what your soul believes. Everyone should have equal opportunity to post things anywhere, no matter where you go someone will disagree with you but thats life and you both are excercing your rights. So everyone has the right to what they believe and say, and posting online is open to anyone, not just straight people, or gay, or bi, or whatever, we are all still humans and have the same rights as any other person no matter their orientation, beliefs, etc...

well, seeing as people claim that all humans have a spirit and therefore a potential for spirituality and christianity is only one of the many religions, and atheists also belong in this group (not christianity but R & S), and the internet is the one place you can still safely exercise your freedom of speech, there is NO reason why a gay, lesbian, transexual, or bi person should not be allowed to post questions or answers in yahoo R&S whether or not they are christians. As long as you can read and type, you are welcome anyday. Anyone that tells you otherwise can go take a dive off the grand canyon

Tell them to go screw themselves, everyone should be able to post religious questions here. Not just straight conservative Christians, I realize that the word spiritual has come to mean Christian, and that's a shame. And to those people who have changed the meaning of a word I hold near and dear my heart, it never occurred to them that there are other religions, and other people that are just as spiritual as them but that don't necessarily have the same views. People should be able to express themselves without some Nazi saying they are unclean and going to burn in Hell.
Yeah, I used the word. The Nazi party were all good Christians, Catholics to be exact, who had a problem with gay people, people from different cultures and religions, and really anyone who was different. And look what happened when they got to power, makes a person want to look over their shoulder.

I don't see why not! I may disagree with your lifestyle but I don't mind reading what you have to say as long as I can put in my two cents worth----aslong as we are respectful and make our comments in a way that is not threatening or will turn off the other individual

I don't expect to have to list all of my sins before someone decides if I'm okay to post here or not. Everyone who meets the rules of the site should be allowed to post.
I imagine the fire you draw comes from being outspoken about being an openly gay Christian. It's difficult to read Scripture simply and plainly and miss that God speaks out against homosexual behavior and is clearly not okay with it. It is disturbing, therefore, that you claim to be a follower that is accepting and resigned to your own homosexuality.
I don't see that as reason to silence your voice, however.
God Bless.

Of course!! Welcome!! And more power to you!!
You have just as much right to post in here as to left-handers, right-handers, brown-eye people, blue-eyed people, white people, black people, straight people, GLBT people, Asian people, Tarot Card players, baseball players, and every other person you can think of, of ANY faith, or lack thereof.
Any person who tells you otherwise is a LOSER, and should simply be regarded as such. ALL if the above descripters are **trivial** differences and attributes, and have no bearing on your qualifications to present your point of view.
Finally -- any losers who whine about you because you're gay probably are NOT Christians at all, but rather are the PSEUDO-Christian dolts and bigots who comprise the RRR Cult... the Religious Radical Right. They should never be confused with normal Christians (who comprise 94% of the USA's professing Christians), who are your low-key, sensible, fair-minded and tolerant next-door neighbors all over the country. Wheras the RRR Cultists pursue sociopathic agendas that seek to make millions of people's lives miserable -- for NO reason.

First of all, let me just say, there is no such thing as a "gay" Christian. The two concepts are an antithesis of one another.
I've read your posts, and your profile. I can assure you, that no mainline, evangelical Christian, is going to condone homosexuality because it is clearly against Scripture, and God's will. You can claim anything you'd like to and distort God's word to make you feel better about the lifestyle that you're living, but anyone with even the basic knowledge of Scripture knows that homosexuality is an abomination to God.
There is no way to misinterpret scripture in this area. The Word of God is clear where He stands on this issue. You can claim that "God is love" and He would never judge you for being as you are, but you forget, He is a just God, and He will not have His words twisted and turned to suit your agenda.
A true Christian agrees with God and the words in His Bible. The Hebrew and the Greek are spoken today, there is no misinterpretation of what is written. So it's easy to understand what He is saying to us. Homosexuality is, and always will be, an abomination to God. It perverts the original intent of God that a sexual relation be between man and woman. Nowhere in Scripture does God condone two men, or two women having sexual relations. Neither does He condone men cross-dressing, acting feminine, or other characteristics of a homosexual person. As a matter of fact they are condemned repeatedly. You can start with Leviticus, and go to Romans. The practice is condemned.
If you were truly Christian, you would be on your knees before God, repenting of a life that offends Him, and asking forgiveness of Christ. But instead, you twist scripture to suit yourself, in a vain attempt to justify a life you know is offensive to Almighty God. You might be making yourself feel better in this effort, but ultimately, you are not fooling any Christian, even with the minimal knowledge of Scripture, and you certainly are not fooling God.
There is no argument you can make, there is no scripture you can distort, and there is no way in the world you can justify your lifestyle, and still call yourself "Christian." And your attempt to influence others with your deceit further exaserbates the problem.
I know I will have "thumbs down" galore, and you will wail, cry foul, and tell the world that I'm picking on you, but you asked the question, and I'm answering it honestly. I expect no less.
If you are truly a Christian, as you claim to be, then you will follow the Word of God, how it is written, and how God intended, and you will forsake a lifestyle that is an abomination to Him. And Christ is faithful to forgive that, and all sins, and yes, it is a sin.

Yes, of course. I'm not Christian, and I'd never tell you that you don't have the right to do anything unless you're trying to persecute others.

Since Western Civization is based upon the ideas of a society that openly practiced homosexuality .I guess you should be " allowed" to post Q's & A's here.

Everyone's a person, everyone has a voice, and every person has the privilege to use their voice. I think people can say whatever they want so long as they're not being offensive.
