a symbol for love can be anything, as long as it reminds you of love. peanut butter and jelly reminds me of love. and lobsters. i always try to go for unique things and think out of the box.

Perhaps in a different language? 愛 would be the symbol in Japanese. Or any other script would be cool as well...Chinese is about the same, but Thai, Arabic, Korean, etc etc. Chinese and Japanese symbols, true, are over rated, but a unique language script would be cool, no?

Well, what images come to mind for you when you think of love? It can be something completely unconventional as long as it has meaning for you.
For example, my high school boyfriend wrote a poem for me called The Fairy's Song. Eventually the image of a fairy started to hold the meaning of first love to me based on my experience.
