All denominations believe their doctrines are correct, but hopefully none are so ignorant as to think that it is not possible they are somewhat wrong.
There is no known "correct" denomination, despite what anyone says. If you're a Christian, you're a Christian, and I don't think that what denomination you are matters so much in the long run. Find your own.

No denomination is right. Everyone of them disagrees with the other. I say just believe in what the bible teaches if you want to be a christian and leave out the denomination stuff

I used to be pentacostal, too.
Ask Jesus where you should go and commit yourself to following wherever He leads. Study the Bible, study Christian history. Keep an open mind.
(P.S. I ended up Catholic -- everything I was taught about Catholicism by pentacostals turned out to be a lie, but it took me six long years to get over it and accept the truth. Be smarter than I was, okay?)

There is no one Christan denomination who can say they are the right or only one. The best thing is to find one that is more to your standards and go there. That is not saying the others are wrong, but I go to a church that I feel comfortable with and its standards are to my liking.
If any say they are the only or true church, don't walk away... run away.

Why do people always ask this question? I think you should research and make this decision for yourself. I am agnostic but I went to a Pentecostal church for a couple of years with my neighbor. I think you guys get a bad rap. I do think it is a little crazy with all the rules, but I have never heard sermons like I did in that church. There was always so much passion and heartfelt belief. I actually really enjoyed it. (Much better then the salvation army.)

Denominationalism is the biggest tool that the devil has going for him today. If you will notice the first thing a person will tell you when you ask them if they are on their way to Heaven is: I am a __________. A great Evangelist once said; It does not matter what tag you wear here on earth. If you go up it will blow off, If you go down it will burn off. Just make sure you know Jesus as your Savior.

There is no "right" Christian denomination.
Find a church which studies the Bible and is willing to admit its wrong if the Bible says so.
Below is a list of 50 good denominations. None of them of course are perfect.
I would avoid any church group which denies the Diety of Jesus, denies the Trinity, baptizes infants, or teaches that they are the one and only correct denomination.

There is no "right" denomination. ALL denominations are built on man's idea of what the Bible says/means and the relationship with God he THINKS you should have. I cant think of a single Christian denomination that doesn't teach against what the Bible teaches in one way or another.
