all the animal pictures are slightly boring, because we've seen them all over and over and over again. Everyone takes pictures of their pets but these are not spectacular. They are just snapshots. But I have to say the last one you said was a scan is excellent the composition is probably your best and it's probably the most interesting photo. I'm wondering what's going on. And the lighting, or exposure you say is dark, I say it's right on. Your use of flash is crippling you. try to steady yourself and capture the lighting as it is. Your use of focus is great thats something alot of people have a problem with but you've got it. i also like the firework photos but they are lacking something still, but are probably the best ones on here especially the second firework one. Reall y I see a lot of potential. I think it's just composition and finding the right subject matter for you. I don't know if your pets are it however that last photo makes me wonder, it s great.

At least they all seem to be in focus! My favorite was the baseball stadium shot. The pet pictures are rather mundane and the harsh flash is not doing those images any favors. A couple are washed out. The guinea pig was cute, though. Try that again using different lighting and change your perspective.
The fireworks don't work for me. You really need a tripod to get good fireworks pictures. Some folks would say that abstract squiggles are neat, and they can be, but in this case, no.
I would suggest getting some books on beginning photography. Kodak used to have a great one, out of print now, but available used. Study your camera manual. Learn what the settings do and how they affect your picture. Visit websites of professional photographers. Study the images closely, looking at lighting and composition. Then try to duplicate your favorites in your world. I highly recommend a book called "Understanding Exposure", by Bryan Peterson.
Photography is a fun and rewarding hobby. Keep learning and practicing and have fun!

The guinea pig is cute.
If you take pictures of fireworks, try putting your camera on a tripod, it will come out better.
Keep practicing and experiment alot. Try taking photos in black and white.
Ask your parents to take a photo class to learn how to work with composition, different techniques and how develop the photos yourself. It's really fun when you know more.
Good luck!

I am 13 and i feel that the firework ones are just blurry and not good at all. At an artistic stand point you really are not getting the right angles and the photo's seem very amateur. This may be beacuse of the use of flash.
Here check out some of my photo's I have taken... maybe they will help

Not to bad.. :-)
Love the guinea pig in the van! Also the baseball filed was nice. The fireworks was average.
I would suggest getting one topic and taking alot of pictures of that one thing. Then seeing how if you change filters and lenses, and shutter speeds the different effects you can acquire on pictures. Keep it up!!!

Not bad. I'm not digging the cat pictures though. I like the panoramic of the B-ball field and the critter in the Mystery machine is pretty funny.

i love your pictures of the fireworks andthe stadium is really good
although your pets are really sweet and the photos are good it can allways be hard to take photos of animals and you should make sure that you have them against a plain unclutered background such as grass or something
sorry if i sound snooty but i like sharing wisdom :P

The animal ones are amateurish, but nice for YOU to have...the fireworks shots are surreal and very interesting, but the baseball field picture shows excellent perspective.
