Im dating this guy... way older.. like he's 28... and im like 20... anyway... he hardly contacts me... He'll go six days without saying a word to me ( except he'll text "hug" or "kiss" to me...like every other day... if Im lucky. ) when we do hang out... he's great... and i feel we really conect... but the down time is... horrible... He never calls... he says he will.... he also promises many things... which takes him forever to do... I know he's stressed from work... but how can i get him to contact me... is it cause he's not interested???

I'm having trouble seeing the problem. You enjoy the time you're together, he contacts you at least in some fashion every other day and he at least gets around to doing what he says he will. Although I expect he isn't taking that long to get around to them since contacting you every other day isn't soon enough for you.
To me it sounds like you're expecting a high school relationship from an adult. And I suspect anyone seeing a problem with this is either obsessively clingy or still in HS.
But perhaps others here are right that you should move on and find someone your own age.

Nope.. no way.. nuh huh. This guy isn't interested in you. He is giving you just enough bait to keep you available.
You are young and it takes some years for some people to realize that they control their own life! You can choose to just be done. You must realize that this is not satisfying to you.
Be busy...don't return phone calls/texts.. don't settle for the little bites of affection he is offering when someone out there would give you the whole enchilada!

move on. he obviously is seeing someone else. and not interested enough. Don't waste your time with the jerk. if he really wanted to be with you why does he only text!.

I say find someone more reliable. Obviously this guy doesn't have you as his first priority. Find a guy that will do so.
