My boyfriend is in jail.....?

He has 4 years in jail, and it will be a year in October. I really am in love with him and never felt no way about nobody (when he was home). I haven't written to him in like 4 months, i need a VERY GOOD EXCUSE why I haven't.

I haven't been wrtining cause i been busy with work and other stuff. Sometimes, it's a hassle.

you do not need to start lying at this stage of the game..if you haven't written, you have reasons...and they may well be sub conscience...I, too, would think long and hard about committing myself to someone who has done something that has put them away for 4 years (does that mean the sentence was for 8 years, or 4 years, out in 2???? Personally, I think I would stand back and take very good stock of why I was still attracted, am I willing to throw away 4 or more years of my life on someone who may, or may not want me at the end of this time....forget about what to say, start some serious thinking instead. If you arrive at "yes," then just write and ignore the time. good luck and best wishes.

Are you really busy or do that because of your feeling for him has reduced?Answer it by yourself. Lesser your communication with him will make a gap in your relationship with him. Do you really still love him? Think carefully about this question. If you say yes, then write a letter for him as soon as possible because he's needing for your support now. Communication is the key of a relationship.

What you tell him isn't nearly as important as deciding for yourself the real reason you've chosen not to write. It could be that deep inside you realize this isn't the person for you and your subconscious self is acting accordingly. So forget needing an excuse...get to what's really up with you then everything else will be clear.Good luck in this effort.

Because he's in jail! Or maybe tell him that your other boyfriend wouldn't let you. Or maybe that all of your other dates seem to be durring visiting time. Or maybe that your pencil ran out of ink. Or you lost his adress. Maybe even that you have decided that having a jailbird as a boyfriend was a very bad idea. Grow up.

Honesty is the best policy.

Having someone in jail is a pretty tough thing to go through. It might be that you just needed time to sort through your thoughts and feelings.

If you are honest about how you feel and why you didn't write, he will appreciate it and you don't have to feel bad about lying.

dont lie guys in jail can find out almost anything. just tell him you dont have nothing to say right now. my advice would be to let him go and find someone not in jail or doing things that wont put him or you in jail . some times guilty by association .

NOBODY cares about excuses, honestly they become annoying.
just say that you didnt write to him and thats it.
if possible just avoid the subject.
if its brought up just say "you didnt write to him, your sorry, and thats all that can be done".

How about you pick up the pen and tell him the truth. If you really loved him so much, you would have thought about him more often than you do.
