orange is actually a very hot wedding color right now. Orange and pink could be awesome together!!!!! Add some white for contrast and you've got a bold, beautiful color statement for a July wedding- lots of flower options with those colors too. Best of luck!

Go with whatever you like! Pick a base color and try to find a good accent color. People generally pick pastels for summer but you don't have to go by that - you can go with brighter colors too, pinks, greens, blues, yellow, or mix em' up. If you have a theme, apply that. If you have an idea of where you're getting married (beach, park, church) you can try to work with that too. I don't go by what season it is - my wedding is this October and much to the horror of alot of the women here, I'm using black, silver, and white! Have fun with it, and happy planning!

Since you like Pink and he likes Orange....do a Coral color...it's sort of in the middle of both colors and would be great for a summer wedding!

Pastels are always good for summer wedding. If you like pink and orange, why not make your colors from peach and soft pink? You could accent with other colors as well. Congratulations!

You can go onto David's Bridal website and play around with dress styles and colors but you could do a knee length strapless dress in hot pink with an orange sash that ties in a bow in the back or I know in davids bridal you can get a thin ribbon that goes around the waist and has a small bow on the side in the front

Fusica and orange are acutally very popular summer colors right now and always look great for a summery feel. I would suggest fuscia dresses with orange accent sash and the guys to wear orange ties.

Fusica peonies and orange minature calla lilies make a bold and creative arrangments too.

Pick colors you like. The first step is to settle on a dress and see what it's available in. "Typical" summer wedding colors are pink, green, lilac, yellow, peach. Hot pink or lime green paired with chocolate brown has been pretty popular Lighter or brighter colors. However, use what you like. I got married in June and used red, white and silver.

Your dress will also be an important factor in color selection. For example, some colors look better with white than they do with ivory and vice versa. Also adding color to bridal gowns is increasingly popular. If that's something you'd like to have, that will influence your color selection. If your dress has pastel colored embrodiery on it in say lilac, pink and pale blue, you might not want to use dark colors like burgandy or navy blue.

Hope that helps!

The right shade of orange would be lovely, colourful and very summery. Nice to match things too, as well. An accent colour could be aqua if you want it bright, or toned down with neutral accents. Coral may be a nice option, too.
For my July wedding, I had pink, lilac, yellow and light teal.

If you love orange, go with it. You could decorate with orange and yellow sunflowers. It would be great! Don't let the season dictate your color.... any color could work with any season depending on material of the dress and the accessories to go with it. This is true for the decorations as well.
