PLEASE interpret my dream ?!?

Okay, firstly, I apologize for how long this is going to be…but, I really want a good interpretation of my dream. Anyways…Last night I dreamt that I was driving in a store parking lot with a woman that I didn’t even know. She was also talking on a cell phone. [I don’t remember what she was saying]. I also didn’t know where we were going, but apparently we drove for a long time. In the parking lot it was night time, and when we got to this little white house…it was day time. I immediately knew that an elderly couple lived there. The woman who had driven me there, got right out of the car, and walked up to the door. I tried to go to the door, but all these bugs were suddenly all over my legs and arms. I specifically remember flies and ants. I kept trying to get them off and once I did, I noticed a VERY large light brown owl in front of me. It was also under a tree. [The tree looked really old and it had no leaves on it]. As I moved closer to the owl, it flew away to the other side of the yard. [It did not make any sounds the entire time. And I thought it was weird because I didn’t think I would see an owl during the day]. After that I walked up to the door of the house, I noticed the woman who I was in the car with was not there, but a little boy was standing there instead. I especially remember him having black hair. I did not speak to him. I then looked at the door, and I saw that it was slightly open. The elderly couple was inside, but weren’t answering the door. That’s when I woke up. What could my dream be about ? Does it mean anything ? I REALLY remember the owl and the little boy with black hair. That part stood out to me the most, if it matters.

My interpretation is this:
- The lady with you in the car is someone that is guiding you to your destination (the house). it doesn't sound like she was that important because she wasn't paying attention to you and you to her. But she was taking you to your destination.
- Flies and ants are sneaky creatures that like to bother people in innoportune times. bugs in dreams often represent people who 'bug' us. In this case the bugs were unableling you to enter the house. What does the house represent to you?
- The owl could signify someone dear to you who is always looking out for you. In this case the owl didn't make a noise, he was just watching from a distance and it was your decision to enter the house. maybe there is a person in your life that is always there for you & right now is just letting you make your own decisions.
- The old couple not answering the door: in dreams older people usually signify wisdom and experience. Maybe right now in your life you are at crossroad which requires you to choose between an silly or mature option.

which takes us to ...

- the boy with dark hair: this kid could represent yourself when you were younger (even if the color hair is different). kids in dream often represent ourselve image or makes us remember of a time when we were young.

This dream could represent a decision that you are about to make. If so, you are about to become more mature and wiser. you might miss being a kid but is your decision if you want to open the door and hang out with the older wiser adults.

Yes, the details that stand out the most do make a difference, i.e. the owl does represent wisdom or understanding in most dreams. However, after you had got closer, the owl in your dream flew to the other side of the yard. This indicates that what you are seeking is fleeting knowledge, of little significance to your destined path. The woman driving the car could be representing someone who has no interest in your future (she was talking on the phone) and someone who forced a difficult decision on your family. This would most likely have been when you were little, as the lady had suddenly become a little boy. The fact that the little boy had black hair says that neither option presented was a good option, that a better choice was not presented. The elder couple inside but not answering the door indicates a family or relational perspective.

That someone down the line you will find yourself involve with someone who will lead you on a path to a certain destination (the elderly couple). The bugs and insects you saw represent the frustration you will experience in trying to get to this place and being uncomfortable. I agree that the driving in darkness means uncertainty and may even mean something bad is going to happen. But then the white house (it is important that the house was white and it was daytime there) is an oasis from teh madness. The owl represents wiseness and that there is something to be learnt most likely from the inhabitants of the house. Now the elderly couple pprobably represents and role model in your life such as parents or something like that. Without any information about you I would say the dream is sayng in a nutshell:
Bad days are coming and that someone you look up to who is probably older then you or that you see as wise will be there to help you and that you must talk to them in person.

I think that your are pushing the limits of some sort of deadline, procrastinating maybe. You were not driving, someone else was, so maybe you are thus far just along for the ride. And the elderly people that you were approaching possibly signify whatever the deadline is, and you seemed to be embracing the youth of this young boy, who has an abundance of time. I think that you are somewhat challenging whatever is going on with this deadline, and that is why there was an owl during the day. I think that the bugs are all just minor excuses that you have made for yourself, little mini obsticals that keep you from working toward aproaching the door- the end result of whatever this dealine or whatever is.
