Warm water to hot water (not boiling of course) dries the skin & stop the oil being produced so much. The more you wash the more oily it can become. Instead of using soap etc use purity made simple
one-step facial cleanser

This is just one store that sells it but there are many that do.
This product will be best for the oily skin & it will not dry out the rest of the skin.
Also make a mixture of lemon & warm water & use a cotton ball squeeze out excess & dab on to the forehead, this will dry up any grease rather than washing it 3 times a day.

Get morning Burst oil absorbing sheets, they work the best and smell really good. They are in a little green box. Clean and Clear has a blue box to but the only difference is they don't have any scent.

I had that problem before. So, I used Noxema pads on my face almost every night, and it works pretty well. (Good luck!)
