Illegal immigrants should definitely be sent back; fine them on the spot (by taking every bit of U.S. currency on their person) and immediately deport them.

Immigrants who took the effort and went through the process to enter legally, and who have maintained their legal status, should be allowed to stay... they've earned it.

Hey be easy with the little bastard. I think I get what he is trying to say. I assume he is talking about our friends down south. Have I gone to far to say that "they were created to invade"? It all started very long ago. Spain quickly began to take advantage of its "rights of conquest" in the western hemisphere. Thus, in 1517, came the first large-scale invasion of North America when an army headed by Cortez landed in Mexico, and, after some attempts to stir up rebellion in the Aztec empire, finally subdued that empire while it was suffering from an epidemic of smallpox introduced by the invaders. This meant the conquest of a powerful nation with a population of about 30,000,000, and whose capital city (called Mexico or Tenochtitlan) alone was a city of over 3,000,000 people―probably the largest city in the world at that period. So in a way you could say since then they have been bread on invasion. If these people on welfare would work, the illegals wouldn't have jobs. I know some really need it, so I'm not speaking of them. I am thinking of the lazy bastards in new Orleans that dump there trash in there front yards and expect the gov to pick it up. Undocumented workers are paid under the table! So you could say that they take but dont contribute. Also, undocumented workers are unlawful...the moment they stepped foot onto American soil, they broke the law. What does that say? And illegals are cleaning up America's problems? WHAT A CROCK! Illegals are creating so many problems and are a burden to society. What are we to do with a bunch of uneducated, non-English speaking people who have no money? And who would want to go to another country and "fix their problems" if that's the case? Stay in your own country and fix the problems there! Sending them back is about as useless as a *** flavored lolly-pop. Perhaps we can put them on a barge and give them to Fidel, hes a communist let his system support these parasites. Anyway we have been sending them back forever and the problem keeps getting worse so what does that tell you. I hope you read this before it gets flagged by some northerner that has no clue what is really on with these southern borders.

Let me leave you with what may be the best quote of the century - "The Indians know what happens when you don't control immigration"

No they should not - because not all of them are here illegally. Well, lets see if you live in the United States of AMERICA and have been following the news you will see the facts and background as stated by all the news media. SO you do not need a website to support any answer.

Personally, I think only illegal immigrants should be returned to thier homelands. Legal immigrants should be welcomed and encouraged on the path of assimilation and citizenship.

However, there are other views, and, since you're looking for a website, here's an example:

I believe that you must be an American citizen to reap the benefits of what America has to offer.

I do not believe that you should come into this country illegally and make demands to get illegal products and services(drivers' licenses, education, etc.) without paying the price that we all have paid as American citizens. I do not believe in stealing American's social security numbers to work in the United States...This is called fraud... and I do not believe in coming into this country and not wanting to learn the English language.

I believe in my heart that every race should be treated the same.

Isn't this debate about "illegal" rather than "legal" immigrants. I don't think all illegals should be deported, it is neither moral nor practical, in my view. Here's my platform regarding immigration:

I support immigration in principle. Good people who want to make a better life for themselves in America should be encouraged to work and study here, and may qualify for naturalization. They help drive innovation. I think the US should restrict immigration to those with certain professional qualifications, and limit the numbers from every part of the world.

We are so overwhelmed with newcomers we need to budget more money to address problems of integration. I believe most want to integrate and learn English. States and local govts must do a better job of using bilingual education in diverse areas. Language acquisition is easier for some than for others. More professional educated immigrants tend to be faster learners than illiterate immigrants.

I think the days of open borders are over. We cannot afford to leave our borders unsecured. We can build fences and use hi-tech surveillance technology to control more porous areas on the Canadian and Mexican frontiers. We need to field at least 10,000 more border agents.

Gangs and smugglers pose serious threats to our society, they must be detained and deported. We must track those who enter through airports and overstay their visas. Terrorists tend to use this method, and just disappear and hideout in safe houses.

We need to accept reality when it comes to illegal aliens. A rigorous selective amnesty policy is needed. We should not punish those who have taken advantage of our failure to secure the borders to make a better life here. The blame is ours for lacking the political will to do so.

Prisoners and known felons must be deported. Those who vandalize private property must be deported as well. Public services, with the exception of schools, should be off limits to illegal aliens. Employers should be punished for hiring those who do not qualify for work visas. States should receive federal grants to enforce immigration laws within their jurisdiction. But most illegals can qualify to stay, especially those who have settled here and become an integral part of society. But the federal and state govts must seriously enforce the laws of the land.

no I do not beleive that immigrants, legal or illegal, should be sent back, but I do beleive that people in gangs or part of other groups that hurt this country that are immigrants should be rid of.
